A Better World? (Ena X Reader)

-Y/N's POV-

We left the house to head to the store, but the walk there seemed shorter than last time for some reason. We reached the store after a few minutes and Ena wanted me to grab some stuff for her.
"Can you grab milk, cereal, ice cream, chips of some sort, mac n' cheese, and three turróns?" Ena asked. "Sure," I responded.

-two hours later-

We got the stuff and left after a while. "Do you want to go to the park and maybe sit by the lake?" Ena inquired. "Sure! Sounds fun," I responded. The park wasn't too far so it was a pretty quick walk.
Ena grabbed my hand and took me to the lake. We sat down on the bench bear the lake. The water was a weird green color with eyes in it, but it seemed pretty normal in this world.
Ena grabbed my hand. "You're a great person. I love you." My face was burning. "You too," I decided to say. My face was probably redder than a tomato. No one has ever said that they loved me. I've never experienced true love from anyone.
We decided to head home, since it was getting late. The walk home was even quicker. It was completely silent. As soon as we walked into the house, Ena jumped on me and gave me a big hug. "You're the best Y/N! Thank you for being there for me all the time." "Of course, Ena, and you're the best!" "Aww thank you!" I decided to go to bed.
When I got into bed, she got into bed with me. She wrapped her arms around me. Why has she been all touchy and lovey the past, like, week? Does she like me? Do I like her? She's so pretty. I hope she likes me. Could I tell Moony about this? Maybe she knows how Ena feels about me? I'm gonna call her.
I walked up to the old phone very quietly to not wake Ena up. Moony's number was written right there by the phone. I dialed the number. "Ina, what do you need at this time?" Moony asked. "It's not Ena it's me, Y/N. Can I, um, talk to you about something?" I whispered. "Sure? What's up?" "Uhm, how does Ena feel about me? Be honest. She's been acting very..touchy..lately. I'm wondering if maybe, she likes me like...that." "What, do you have a crush on her?" "No I'm just wondering." "If you do have a crush on her, ask her out." "Uhmm okay." "Did I help?" "Uhm I guess!" "Alright, you and Ena meet me at the park tomorrow. Don't tell her I told you to." "Okay...I'll see you tomorrow! Bye!" I hung up. I connected the dots. Moony is making us go to the park for me to ask Ena out!
I decided to sleep for two more hours since it was still pretty early.

Day 11

As soon as I woke up, I went into Ena's closet to try to find something somewhat fancy. I found a black skirt, a white blouse, a black sweater, and two white knee-high socks and black shoes. I also started to make breakfast, I made chocolate chip pancakes, which I know she likes.
"Y/N?" Ena said groggily. "Oh! You're up! Wear the fanciest clothes you have. Also, I made chocolate chip pancakes for us!" I exclaimed. I was so excited but nervous for later. "Okay...what's going on?" "A surprise!" "Ooh fun!" "Yup!"
She came out with a cream turtleneck, a brown skirt, a light brown vest, cream knee-high socks and brown shoes. She was absolutely beautiful. I love her. "You look great!" I said. "Thanks!" "There's some pancakes at the table." "Alright!"
We finished and we left.
