A Better World? (Ena X Reader)

   I looked at the clock. It was 3:17 a.m. I need to take a walk, I haven't been able to sleep. I put on a jacket, and quietly tiptoed to the door. I opened the door as silent as I could and grabbed the key from the hook next to the door.
I've never been out at night here, it's very nice. I noticed that the sky was a dark shade of purple, which I thought was beautiful. I kept walking for a while until I reached a bench on the side of the sidewalk. I sat down. As soon as I sat down, I started sobbing uncontrollably.
   What does Ena think of me now? She probably thinks I'm weird or insane. She'll probably kick me out or-
   "Are you okay..?" I looked up. There was a weird, like, mime person in front of me?
   "Uhm..uhh yeah I'm fine..." I replied. "Oh wait.. you're that person Ena is always talking about on her trips to see Moony," it stated. "Wha- who are you? And Ena never goes anywhere without me, right?" I muttered. "Oh.. haha, she come to see Moony almost every night around this time.. and I'm Merci, you're Y/N, right?" "Mhm..." "Well... what's bothering you? Or is it something stupid, like something Ena would have a fit over?" "Something... I'd prefer not to talk about.." "Well, you and Ena could come and see me anytime I guess, I have to get back to the labyrinth, Moony doesn't like when random things find their way into her home." "Okay, bye."
   Ena has never told me about a Merci. And why did it talk in a language I didn't know but could somehow understand? Everything here is so weird...
   I decided to stay there, I just want to be alone for a second.

-Ena's POV-

Where did Y/N go? It's 4 a.m., what are they doing up? I decided to check the kitchen, maybe they're getting a snack.
Where did they go?? Oh no!! It's my fault, I made them mad earlier!!
I decided to visit Moony because I wanted to see if Y/N somehow found their way to Moony, or maybe Moony was out and saw them.
I reached Merci. "Hello Merci! I would like to visit Moony!" I chimed. "Oh, Ena, you can go, but before you do, I saw your stupid friend crying their eyes out on the bench ," Merci replied. "What?! Are they okay? I'm gonna go check on them!! Bye!" I shouted as I ran out.
I walked up to Y/N. "Are you okay? This is my fault!!" I trembled. "No. And why do you always go visit Moony without me knowing? And why can't I go with you? You could even tell me during the day that you'll go by yourself, and I wouldn't mind," they demanded. "I'm sowwy! Someone pwease end my suffewing!!" I cried.
"Ena, stop. I'm not in the mood. I know you hate me and probably don't want to see me again. I just need to be by myself to gather my thoughts," they shouted as tears began to form in their eyes. "Fine! If you really want me to leave, I will! We're done!" I yelled.
I didn't mean that! No... they're gonna be gone from my life forever. They ran away. I decided to chase them because I need to explain to them that I didn't mean that.

Jeez i'm publishing two parts in one day, probably bc im not as busy but yeah enjoy! Maybe i can finish another tonight or tomorrow, depending in how busy i am! Enjoy this for now!
