The loud ring of Ariana's work phone dragged her out of her peaceful dream. Silently cursing out whoever was trying to contact her she slowly sat up and grabbed the phone off her nightstand.
Letting her eyes adjust to the harsh morning sunlight she glanced at the phone screen. 8 million in big bold letters helped her wake up a bit more. Ari leaned forward to read the name underneath it. 'GRANDSON'

Her eyes widened after reading the message over and over. Ari started silently weighing the pros and cons if she accepted it.
The con would be trying to kill Grandson, which was damn near impossible. Everyone in Chicago knew who Grandson was due to his reputation. Ariana had never met him before but she knew she'd have to work hard to kill him.
She watched as the phone timer ticked down. Whenever anyone was offered a contract to kill someone they'd have 3 minutes to accept before it was passed onto the next willing and available professional.
Quickly grabbing her laptop she hacked into the Gun4Hire database searching for Grandson.Gun4Hire was a very discreet organization that helped trained killers get jobs and supplied them with anything they needed like travel, weapons, and medical help.
Ari didn't work for them much but she held a contract with them. She has been on their payroll for 3 and 1/2 years but this year was her last since all contracts need to be renewed after 4 years
Looking at the laptop screen she read the very short file they had on the man.

Huffing she looked at her work phone watching the timer reach 30 seconds. "Fuck it," she said as she clicked the accept button.
She now had 30 hours to kill someone more experienced than her and tough to find.
Contemplating whether the money was worth it or not Ariana got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. After brushing her teeth, she facetimed someone on her phone as she started her morning routine. Ariana knew this target would not fall down easy so she'd need the best equipment with her if she was going to try.
