Silence quickly filled the room as the two silently stared at each other. Both held a gun in their hands with the safety off and their trigger fingers itching to be used.

Ariana didn't let her eyes leave the man in front of her. She refused to die like this. She wasn't sure what she had to live for but she knew she wasn't ready to die yet.

"Explain yoself' folks before I drop you." He threatened coldly. Nothin' like the person she'd spoken to earlier tonight. She assumed they were both putting on a show.

"Ion' gotta' explain shit." Ari replied. She didn't owe him anything in her opinion. She was just doing a job.

Grandson was becoming annoyed as the silence grew louder once again. He felt he could've ended this but he didn't want to solve this problem the way he normally would've or the girl in front of him would be been dead by now.

Holding up her golden ticket, he asked, "You on a job?".

The minute Ariana walked away earlier he started snooping around the hotel room. The girl was a mystery to him and he disliked not having answers.

So he allowed his curiosity to get the best of him as he looked around he found her golden ticket in one of the drawers in the living room.

Ariana rolled her eyes at the apparent question. She knew he had worked with Guns4Hire before so he knew she was definitely on a job.

Holding her tongue she just silently nodded, focusing on the gun in her hand. She still had to be prepared to kill him once he fucked up and created an opening.

"How much they paying you to kill me?" He asked genuinely, wondering what the world would pay for him.

It was crazy to him being on the other side of the deal. Of all the contracts he closed he never expected someone to open one for him.

It'd be stupid of him to say he didn't have people who wanted him dead because he did, a lot of them, but none of them were dumb enough to do anything about it.

Well, he thought anyways.

"8 mil," she replied, holding the gun in her hand.

Grandson whistled smirking slightly. He couldn't lie he was proud that someone would drop all that money for him.

Considering the normal rate ranges from 1-3 million, 8 million was definitely something to brag about.

Hell, he couldn't even blame Ari for taking it. Any smart professional knows that would be easy money if he wasn't who he was.
