I rubbed my eyes and groaned. Drinking is fun but hangovers are most definitely not. My bedroom door opened and Alhaitham walked in.

"How are you feeling?"

"Fucking terrible." I replied.

"Well that's your fault isn't it?" he said, clearly unamused.

"I know, just shut up and let me go back to sleep."

"You need to eat, or at least drink some water."

"Aww, is Haitham worried about me?"

"No, I'm just making sure you're not doing anything too stupid."

"Sure..."

"I'll make you something, keep resting."

And with that, he left the room. I couldn't help but laugh when he closed the door.
He really cares, he just tries to hide it.

𝘼𝙡𝙝𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙢'𝙨 𝙋𝙊𝙑:

I closed the door behind me and smiled. Usually I was the one to get away with teasing Kaveh but I guess that's not the case today.

ʟᴀᴛᴇʀ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ᴅᴀʏ...

It was slightly busier in Sumeru City today. I turned on my soundproof headphones to block out the sound. Noisy crowds particularly irritated me. I jumped at the feel of someone lightly tapping my shoulder. It was Cyno. I turned off my headphones so I could hear him.

"Sorry about that, you couldn't hear me so I had to do something to get your attention."

"It's alright. Was there something you wanted?" I asked.

"Not particularly, I just spotted you. Is Kaveh alright after yesterday?"

"Yeah, he just needs some rest."

My mind wandered back to his drunk words. I blushed at the thought. Cyno seemed to have noticed, so he proceeded to ask a question.

"Did anything else happen when you two got home?"

"No...no."

Cyno raised an eyebrow in suspicion.

"Fine, yes. He randomly called me pretty. I guess it just caught me offguard."

"You have feelings for him, don't you?"

The thought had never really crossed my mind.
Do I?

"I don't know." I admitted.

"Seems pretty obvious that you do. But I'll leave this for you and him to figure it out for yourselves. I'll see you later Alhaitham."

I was left standing there, speechless.
