F1 Secrets- Rewritten

8pm- LH44

From Lando: I've just told Carlos
To Lando: I thought u might tell him
To Lando: Say hi to him, from me
From Lando: Carlos says hi, back
To Lando: Right, I'm going to go and tell my person now
From Lando: Who is it
To Lando: I'll tell u later
From Lando: Fine 😔

After I finished messaging Lando, I set out to go and sneak into the hotel of the person that I was going to visit. Why would I have to sneak into the hotel you might ask, well the hotel I'm going to, I'm not entirely welcome by everyone and questions would be asked if I was seen entering said hotel. About half an hour later, I was in the hotel and managed to get up to the room of the person I was going to tell.
I knocked quickly on the door and the door opened soon after. The person in the room pulled me inside and the door was swiftly closed behind us.

"I'm glad to see you. Did you manage to get here without being seen?"
"I think so."
"Good, because imagine the headlines if somebody did see you."
"Yeah, I already have enough to worry about, with what happened earlier"
"Ah yes, about that. . ."

I got led to a sofe where we both sat down, to be comfortable for me telling the story.

"So my mother had a daughter, who is older than me."
"Was this with your father?"
"No, it was with a different man just before my father came along."
"Right."
"My sister had a child, well she had 4 children, but Lando was one of them."
"Okay so how many people know that Lando is your nephew?"
"Well, there is obviously me and Lando, then there is you and Carlos both of you have been told tonight. Finally, you have Toto and Andreas both of whom me and Lando told when Lando entered F1."
"Yeah I can see why they needed to know. Also I can imagine why you decided not to tell anyone."
"Hmm, go on."
"It's probably a similar reason to why we haven't told anyone about us."
"It is, but it is slightly different, we didn't want to put even more pressure in Lando as he would have been constantly compared with me. But now I'll probably start tell people that Lando is related to me, with Landos permission of course, because he has now proven himself enough as an f1 driver."
"I suppose it is a different matter with us, especially with what happened last season."
"I think people will start to question the whole idea of life if they found out about us."

We both burst out laughing after I had finished speaking and I held him in my arms for a bit, just taking in his scent. It was nice just to spend time in each others company, it was just hard to do sometimes with all the media attention that we get.

"I can't believe that I have two massive secrets to keep for now."
"It's bad enough for me, just having one."
"I'm sure we're not the only ones carrying secrets around though"
"Indeed, but you, me and Lando are the main focus of the story"

It's just me as the author breaking the fourth wall
