Caleb's pov (A couple hours before)
"Caleb we need you to try and stay with Lillian because she doesn't go to parties often and she's alone we would stay with her but we know we're gonna drink and we won't be able to watch her" Hannah said as Sarah next to her already looked pretty intoxicated. I honestly didn't mind staying with Lillian I didn't know any people here yet and Lillian was nice.
"Ok" I didn't want to sound so desperate to hang out with her. "Seriously that's it just ok, wow ok we'll thanks bye now" Hannah said as she dragged Sarah with her.
I started to look for Lillian around the house. I hadn't see her yet so I wasn't sure what she was wearing so I didn't know what to look out for.
I entered the kitchen and saw a girl in a corner, she was wearing a short black dress and she was holding a red solo cup. She had the same dark brown long hair as Lily. I walked up to her and grabbed her drink. . "Hey what was that f." Lillian said as she turned around but stopped talking when she noticed it was me. I wanted to check if she was drinking alcohol since I was curious and she was but I wasn't much and I wanted to make sure nobody drugged her drink cause like Hannah said she doesn't go to parties often and she wouldn't know to not leave your drink alone.
Lillian yanked her drink out of my hands and rolled her eyes at me "Jeez I was just checking what it was"
"Why?"
"I was making sure your drink wasn't drugged"
"Do you really think I can't take care of myself"
"No I'm sure you can but I was just checking"
"Whatever" she rolled her eyes at me once again and walked away but I followed her.
"Lily wait up" I yelled trying to pass through all these people. Lillian was able to pass since she was so small.
"Caleb what do you want, stop following me"
"Sorry but no can do the girls said to watch you since they figured you were alone"
"We'll Im fine" she said as she continued walking away from me but she bumped into someone. Once I caught up to her I noticed who it was. Her boyfriend. "Lily? What are you doing here"
"Oh hey babe, honestly I don't know what I'm doing here the girls forced me"
"Well Im glad they did, you look good by the way"
"Thank you, you to" it was very awkward to just stand here listening to there conversation but I didn't want to leave her with him.
