Chapter 3: First Date+ authors note

THE NEXT DAY

-Sane's POV-

I woke up with a banging headache. I was in my room, I wonder how I got here. I got out of bed, showered and wore a black tracksuit since I felt chilly. I wore that with white sneakers. I combed my hair and tied it into a low ponytail. I checked the time on my phone- 10:45! I missed my class! Yoh. Zolani called me.

Me: Mthembu
Zolani: urighti?(are you okay?)
Me: I missed my class
Zolani: yoh.. kodwa it was expected, you came home at 1am.
Me: yeah but still nje I should have drawn the line.
Zolani: yeah but ke it is what it is. Are you busy today?
Me: I have two classes but I will be done by 3pm
Zolani: okay I will fetch you 4pm
Me: okay.
Zolani: I love you
Me: I love you too.
He aborted the call. I made some breakfast for myself quickly and cleaned the house. After that it was 12 o'clock. I grabbed my car keys( Msizi came back with my car, I don't know how he had access to it because I had my keys) and drove off to university.

After my first class, I went to the university cafeteria, it's also packed that's why I always go out. I brought Nik Naks with Fanta grape. As I was walking out, I bumped into Mbali.
Mbali: hey Sane..
Me: ufunani(what do you want)
Mbali: Sanelisiwe I'm sorry about what happened at the restaurant I was just pissed because I'm a spoilt brat and im used to having all the attention on me.. I'm so sorry.. please forgive me?
Me: I forgave you that day. Can't stay too mad because I'm a PK.
Mbali: ohh so erm can we still be friends? Because you are such a good person and I felt the vibe with you.
Me: I don't mind but please don't do that again
Mbali: I won't, thanks for giving me another chance.
We sat on a table and were lightly conversing over life. At 1:30pm I left the cafeteria because I had another class.

After all my classes, I drove back home and found Zane having sex with some other guy in the living room
Sane: sies Zanele awuhlali wedwa!(you don't live alone)
Zane: Sane!
Sane: ayenziwa nje leyonto( that thing is not done)
I left the dining room to my bedroom.  I got a text from Uyandi.

U: hey Sane
U: I'm sorry about my behavior yesterday... I have to tell you something.
U: I'm lesbian and I kinda had a crush on you so I just got jealous when I saw you looking at Zolani.. I'm sorry
Me: oh my gosh.. sorry but I'm not lesbian. I'm actually dating Zolani.
U: oh.. damn okay do you atleast forgive me for my behavior
Me: yes of course and I will pray for you.
U: um thanks I guess.
U: can we still be friends?
Me: of course I have no problem with you, I have a problem with your sin.
U: right...
U: I was invited to my cousin's baby shower and she said I could invite two people so can you come? I'm also inviting Mbali
Me: oh okay that's fine, what date?
U: 20th of December
Me: that's in 5 days?
U: yes. It's at 12 to 6
Me: do I have to bring anything
U: if you want to
Me: okay.
U: I'm making a group.

I left the chat. She soon made a group.

C: chommie you finally came!
U: okay guys thank you. In the programme we will have CeCe and Dineo talking at 1pm, then we will have snacks. After that it's me, Ratile, Xoliswa and Elihle. We have a short break then Mrs Jackson, Jazmin, Yanga, Omps and Becca.
M: so it's only me, Alondwe, Yanda and Sane that won't talk
U: basically because you are invites
M: kk no problem.
U: then after that we will play games, gender reveal with the baby daddy also there.
C: shouldn't you add him?
U: oh okay.

U: I was just telling them about the plans. I will send to you separately
S: okay cool but Zeno must not see right?
U: yes of course! It's a surprise..
U: okay so then after the gender reveal we will drink and have some more fun and games. Zaza our photographer will come and take pictures of the deco, the gifts etc.
Me: you really planned out hey
U: yah I did.
U: gifts will be done at the end of the day.
U: don't come late but you can leave after 4pm.
