In the church of the village of Hage, within the Clover Kingdom's Forsaken Realm, the resident nun was carrying two letters, that had just arrived, to the priest and orphan children who live in the small house of prayer. They were eager to hear what the letters said as the nun opened the first one and read it before saying, "It looks like Yuno has been promoted to Junior Magic Knight: 1st class. He also says that he had met two other members in his squad that he openly respects, aside from his captain. These two don't rely on their magic in a fight and don't believe that magic is everything." The priest replied, "Really?! They definitely sound interesting if they believe that, and there aren't many people in the world that do. What about Asta?" The sister opened the next letter and read it before gasping in surprise. "Sister Lily, what's wrong?" A red-haired boy asked concerned. The nun named Lily replied, "Asta made it to Junior Magic Knight: 3rd class!" This greatly surprised the father and the orphans as they couldn't believe that Asta was able to advance through the rankings among the Magic Knights. She continued, "Not only that, but he also met two other Magic Knights who believe he can become the Wizard King and decided to train to reach his goal. It's honestly quite nice to hear that there are people who believe in him, when we couldn't." The priest commented, "I can't believe it, Asta is actually making it as a Magic Knight." Sister Lily added, "We always doubted him because he had no magic, and not only did he prove us wrong by becoming a Magic Knight, but he also found people who are willing to help him grow stronger." A little black-haired girl said, "Everyone in the village believed that Asta would never make it in the world, it makes me feel guilty that we couldn't believe in him before." The red-haired boy only commented, "Yeah." The boy truly doubted that Asta would be able to even become a Magic Knight, because he believed that everyone's position in society was determined by how much magic power they were born with. And because of this, he was convinced that commoners and orphans like him and Asta would forever be on the bottom of the pecking order. But now, after hearing Asta was actually being able to pursue his dream of becoming the Wizard King, he began to believe that what he originally believed about the ways of the world were wrong and began to show respect for him.

Meanwhile, at the cave near Nean village, the 6 Black Bulls were sitting down on the rubble, as the defeated terrorists, Valtos and Licht were laying on the ground tied up in Yami's Dark Binding spell. Currently, they were discussing how to get back to Nean with the captured criminals. Yami said to the spatial mage, "Finral, take us back to Nean so we can bring the guys in." "Sorry, but I can't right now. I've been using my magic a lot today, and I ran out of mana when I brought Gauche and myself here. It's going to be a while before I can get enough mana to use another spell." Gauche and Yami scoffed a reply, "Useless as usual, huh?" "Hey! I can tell you two are close to running out of magic yourselves, so how can you both stand there and talk down to me?!" Finral replied annoyed. Asta turned to the zombie pair and asked, "Hey sensei, why not use your Teleportation Jutsu to send us back to Nean?" Yami, Gauche, and Finral all looked at the two shinobi and the captain asked to confirm, "You guys can do that?" Kakuzu replied, "That's right, but we can only take two at a time. We'll need to make a couple trips before we can get everyone back to town." "Alright, let's get started then." As soon as Hidan said that a black portal opened close to the Magic Knights. They recognized it as the same spatial magic the Valtos has, but they knew that it wasn't him because he was still out cold. Then, from the portal, three people came out. One was a black-haired man who looks like he'd rather be sleeping at the moment, one was a blonde, hairy man with sharp teeth, the other was a young woman with long, wavy pink hair. The black-haired man said after yawning, "Oh man, looks like things didn't go as planned. There was a hell of a battle, and Licht and Valty clearly weren't the winners. Cleaning up this mess will be a real pain but still, you gotta help out your friends, right?" He disappeared in a flash of light and reappeared in front of Yami, who had drawn his grimoire, and touched it while examining the cover. "That's a unique design. Well, not that it matters." Yami quickly reacted by unleashing a Lightless Slash at him, but the attack only scratched the enemy as he jumped out of the way. "Ow! Jeez, now that's literally a pain!" He said as he was still in the air. The black-haired man rejoined his group and continued, "Well, whatever. I can heal it easily enough.
