-----------------------------

Early in the morning, the queen of 23 let out a cry. Every servant, worker, chef, maid, wizard, fairy, and witch ran to the lady's room. The king rang the bell multiple times as each person approached the room. One by one, every person came. That's when they found out-

The queen's water broke.

All the nurses rushed to her aid, the servants bringing towels and the fairies checking her status. Wizards and Witches trying to keep her breathing.

The king stood outside of the room, walking around like an npc waiting for his wife and children. As time passed, he began to worry. He watched outside the stained glass window, observing each wonderful rosebud, which would all blossom soon enough. The king turned to the clock.

Each second is marked with a tick or a tock. The faint sound of footsteps and yelling could be heard. You could hear the windchimes faintly as well, making music in the wind. The king looked up at the stained glass window, the design of two beautiful roses, one amethyst purple and the other an ocean blue. Turning back, you could see the design of the two roses on the dark oak floor, looking as colorful as Chromia. Chromia, a smaller kingdom, had sent them many dyes as a future gift for the little future ruler. A good ally indeed. They had a son, 4 years of age. Teal hair, teal eyes. The young lad really matched his kingdom. Their older son, Xornoth, was heir to the throne. Black hair and deep magenta eyes, he didn't really resemble the kingdom. But hey- he was the oldest after all.

Then, the church bell of Saint Pearl chimed, and the bell of the sun god rang afterward.

That marked 2 hours. Everything went silent. The footsteps, the yelling, everything. Windchimes included. All you could hear was the ticking of the clock.

"Your majesty! You may come in now!"

The king's eyes lit up and filled with tears as he walked into the room. He had no idea what to feel.

There stood his newborn twins, a boy, and a girl, both with beautiful blue lapis eyes. One more thing was there though.

A lifeless queen.

The queen had died giving birth, laying in the silk orange sheets, dead. The king just stood there, as the maids and servants apologized for his loss. All sound was faint to his ears. The king walked over to the woven wooden cots, and cradled the two newborns in his arms. His eyes flowed with crystal clear tears as he looked at the twins.

He walked over to the demised corpse, which laid on the matress covered with silk bed sheets. The queen would never meet her children, and never watch them grow. He kissed her forehead softly, then brushed her golden blonde hair. The king then walked away, and whispered to the servants to place her corpse in a coffin. A coffin in birch wood to be exact, since that had been her favorite. The king then left, and went into the new rooms made for the babies. He placed both in a cot and rocked them to sleep.

He sat down in the armchair near the cot and looked up at the stained glass window made for them. A window with several roses of all colors, although with one in the middle, a white one splattered with red and black. The arch-shaped window let in much sunlight for the newborns, and many colors as well. The king let out a sigh as he listened to the birds sing. The wind rustling in the trees, the windchimes making gleeful music, everything sounded like peace.

Relaxing for a while, he closed his eyes, trying to imagine the future set out for his children. Opening his eyes once more, he looked into the gold-framed mirror across the room. His brown hair was a mess, and his green emerald eyes looked puffed up and sore from sobbing. Rubbing his eyes, he returned to his room.

The night was already approached by the time he was in his room, which was next door to the twin's room. Laying down in the soft orange sheets his beloved perished in, he questioned his future once more and slept a good sleep.

-----------------------------

Everyone came, such as Chromia, Rivendell, House Blossom, The Ocean Empire, Mythland, Pixandria, The Undergrove, Mezalea, and the Cod Empire. All the rulers and their children dressed in black, although Chromia and Mezalea with a small splash of color.

Gathering around the coffin, everyone said their last words. Each child placed a white rose, the queen's favorite, onto her coffin, including the week-old twins. Saying their goodbyes, the Ocean Empire helped put the coffin on a beautiful boat, and let it set sail. Everyone waved goodbye to the queen, whose fate was a sad one dearly. The boat left a flower trail behind, which was helped with by House Blossom. Then, they all walked back into the castle to have a meal prepared by all the other empires.

Having a toast, they all drank and ate, discussing the fallen queen. That is, until Xornoth, 7 years of age, suggested something.

"Why don't you send one twin to become a scholar or servant, and another one set to become heir to the throne? Both wouldn't fight for the throne and would both become successful."

Silence filled the room. The king didn't agree with the young kid at all. Instead, Chromia quickly changed the subject to something more proper.

"What are the babies names?" Asked the 4-year-old.

The king hadn't decided on any names yet however, he just referred to them as "the royal siblings."

The kingdoms bid their farewells as they traveled back to their homes, all with different types of transportation.

The king held his two children, thinking of names. He thought of two names, and didn't hesitate to name them those names.

Gemini S. Tay, for the girl. Gemini had been his wife's name, an easy choice indeed.

And Fwhip Tay, Fwhip was the middle name of the queen apparently.
