"Hey, I'm gonna head home, I was gonna go to the dinner but I realized we'd probably be there late and I have to get up early for my flight," Stella says to me as we all walk out of the screening room

"Okay, that's fine," I say before hugging her and saying goodbye "You riding with us?" Devyn asks with Jasmin and Jenna next to her "yea," I say with a smile and we all walk out to her car

We all wanted to change before dinner but considering our reservation was in twenty minutes there was no possible way we'd be able to so we all had to go in our fancy dresses. "Was it weird?" Jenna asks from the seat next to me in the car

"What?" I asked confused and turning my head toward her "Jack, was it weird seeing him?" She says "Kind of, at first, but we texted during the movie and I think we're gonna be fine," I say nodding with a smile

"So are you gonna get back together?" She asks with a smile and I laugh "No," I say, and her smile drops "Why not?" She says confused

"I don't know, I think we are just better off as friends for now," I shrug completely lying, of course, I want to get back with him I just don't think he wants to get back with me so I'm just letting it go

"Girl, you are not better off as friends," She says shaking her head no "I don't think he even wants to get back with me," I shrug and her jaw drops

"You're an idiot, he's completely and helplessly in love with you, of course, he wants to get back with you," She says in disbelief over what I just said "I don't think so, I think he just wants to be friends again," I say and she rolls her eyes

"I can't even have this conversation, you're oblivious," She says shaking her head, I let it go and the rest of the car ride was spent with us belting our favorite songs just like we used to when we were filming. I didn't realize how much I missed these people until tonight, including Jack.

We soon arrived at the restaurant and we all walked in practically holding onto each other so we didn't fall over, we walked in and Mason called us over toward the table, I walked toward the table and the only seats available were three next to Mason and one next to Jack, guess where I got stuck? yea, next to Jack.

"Hey," He says while I sit down "Hey," I say with a smile "Did you like the movie?" He asks with a smile and I realize this is him trying to not be awkward

"yea, it was pretty good," I say laughing slightly "Yea, you did amazing," He says nervously "So did you, If I wasn't in the movie I never would have thought it was you," I laugh

"Same goes for you, had me shook even though I knew what was gonna happen," He says laughing "Never say shook again," I say laughing "Noted," He says with a smile, the same smile I fell in love with.

The server soon came over and we all ordered our food, I don't remember what everyone else got but I got pasta, of course. We all ate and talked, Jack and I talked about anything and everything, catching up on what we didn't say in our check-up texts which only happened like twice.

It felt nice just being near him, us laughing the way we use to. After we all finished eating, we part ways, I say all my goodbyes and called an Uber to bring me back to my apartment.
