CREW

Walk out of the building to see Jade leaning against her car."I figured you would try to skip the game"."Im not feeling it".

"I know".

She locks her door and walks over to me.She pulls me in a hug as I wrap my arms around her.

"Im here for you Speedy.Always you know your like a brother to me".

I nod my head and she moves back.She holds her hand out and says "Im sure Amara would be sad if you didn't go to see her face right?"."Yea..".

"Come on.I'll be right beside you the whole time".

I take her hand and she walks us to the stadium.We sit in the two row where I see Amara clear as day.

She looks at me before doing a sideways glance to Jade.She glares at her and I look down.We were still holding hands.

"Did you have nightmares?".I sigh and nod my head."I fell asleep during 4th period and had one".

"Was it-"."-Yea.Just as realistic.Thankfully I was in the back so no one hear it.I had to leave..cried in the bathroom".

"Does Amara know-"."-She knows what you told her".

"Crewson.If you're serious about her she should know everything.Granted we kinda already told them about what really happened to your mom".

I jet my head to her and glare."They don't know that tomorrow is the day though.So don't..beat yourself up over this okay?".

I nod my head and she smiles.

AMARA

"why were they holding hands?"Kiera asks.

I narrow my eyes and say "I'm trying to figure that out myself.It's halftime so I'm going to go up there.It's weird he isn't sitting with the rest of them"."Alright I'll see you".

I walk out the stadium and go up the stairs.I walk over to them and Jade sighs.

"I mean that really isn't your fault, Speedy".

Crews lowers his shoulder and I clear my throat.They both turn around and I raise my eyebrow.

"Why are you holding his hand?"."That's really the first thing you ask?".

"It's the first thing I see when I look in the stands towards my boyfriend so yea".

She rolls her eyes and stands up."I'm going to get popcorn.You want something to drink?".

Crewson shakes his head and Jade leaves.I sit down in her spot and turn to him.

"You really want waste your halftime on me".I grab his hands and say "Yes.Talk to me,Squishy".

He sighs and turn to me."Tomorrow..Tomorrow my mothers death anniversary".

My eyes go wide and I look at him sadly."Why didn't you tell me?"."I didn't want to burden you".

"Crew we're dating now.Whatever hardships are in your life I deserve to know.So that I can be there for you"."It's nothing".

My eyes narrow and I look at him pissed."This isnt nothing!Crew I care about you truly.I want to be there for you in highest moment and your lowest moments.It's what being a girlfriend is about for me.Tell me these things so you don't have to put the burden on yourself".

His eyes start to water and I look around."Come on"."Huh,What about your game.Halftime is going to end soon".

I glance out to Kiera and she nods her head at me."You're more important".

He softens his eyes and says "Amara...".I ignore him and walk him out of the bleachers.

"Amara?"Spade says.I turn around and he looks at Crew."What are you crying for now?".

I glare at Spade harshly and let go of Crews hand.I walk over to him and his smile falls.

"First time I let it slide.Second time I warned you.But this third time.Stop bothering Crew.You will see a end of our friendship if you don't".

"You would really choose him over me".I turn away and look over my shoulder."In a fucking heartbeat".

He looks at me shocked as I grab Crews hand and lead him to the gardens.I sit him down on the bench and sit on his lap.

"Tell me the whole story.I want to know what is going in your head.I want to know how you are feeling right,Crewson".

He nods his head as i kiss his cheek."I was 14 years old.I was coming home school that day.It was report card day and I got all Bs.I was happy,Mama said that if I got all Bs she would take me out to a Soccer game I wanted to see.I walk into the house and automatically I knew there was something off.The smell..it didn't smell right.So I walked around the house and then took two steps up the stairs when I saw it.I dropped my phone and the paper in my Hand.It Mama,hanging from the stairs.Under her was a letter addressed to me and rain.I couldn't open it,I didn't want to see her handwriting and start to get angry.So I waited.And at 9pm Rain walking into the room with Hans and Carson.They all looked at me before I pointed up.It was the first time my brother ever cried in my arms like that.But me?I had no cries I was just empty".

"The letter what did it say?".He sniffles and I wipe his tears with thumb before kissing his eyelid softly.

"I never opened it.It's sitting in my drawer right now unopened"."What are you waiting for?".

"I'm..I'm scared".I move back and stare him."Open it with me".

"Huh?"."Let's go back right now and we read it together.I told you that I'll be there for you whenever you need me too baby".

"You're serious?".

I nod my head and he pulls out his phone.He picks me up and says "We didn't drive my car"."Jade got space in her car?".

He smiles and nods his head.

CREW

Jade drops us off and she turns to me."If you need anything remember-"."-You and Stefan will be here in a heartbeat.I got it".

Jade points to Amara who rolls her eyes."Take care of my bestfriend"."I always do".

I hold in a laugh as Jade grunts.She speeds away and I turn around to face the door.I pull my key out and unlock the door.

I'm sure Raphael and his wife were at work so it would be me and Amara alone for a good minute.

I walk into the house and hold the door for Amara.She walks in and I lock the door behind us.

I lead Mara up to my room before going into the drawer and grabbing the letter.I sit down in the couch and she climbs on my lap again putting  her head on my chest.

"Whenever your ready baby".

I nod my head and tear the envelope  open.I take a deep breathe before unfolding the letter.
