As I was going to the office I received a text from sam he wanted me to meet him on the stadium ground... What is he up to
Just then I received another text from sam saying "Right now"
I texted back "sorry sam can you wait for 5 mins I have some work I'll be there "
And I rushed to Erik's cabin..
He was there facing his chair.. I could only see his back.. He was holding a cup of coffee.. He offered me some.. I denied
"Why did you call me here "
He turned around.. And said "please take a seat.. I have something to tell you"
I sat.. He sat across me... Looking me in the eye... I could not help but focus on his lips.. And just like that I imagined kissing him my heart thumped.. Just then he spoke
Erik: you really want me so bad don't you ???
I searched for words but nothing left mg mouth except air the words were left in my throat.. It felt awkward.. Then he spoke..
Erik: hm so let's see what we can do about it..
After staring at me for whole 2 minutes out of the blue he said..
Erik: Be my girlfriend..!
I was shocked as his words fell to my ears.. I didn't know how to react but I had to react..
"Why should I?"
Erik: maybe because you want to make it up to me for stealing my clothes and anyways I never asked you. It was an order..
" But why me ?? I don't even know you how can I be your girlfriend.. you are my professor.."
Erik: Fine I'll give you some time to process.. So from tomorrow you're my girlfriend.. I'll see you tomorrow then miss emma..! have a nice evening!
And just like that I was out of his office unable to respond to him in any way.. I was walking on the ground lost in my thoughts and I heard a voice that pulled me completely out of my thoughts..
It was Sam
Sam: I've been waiting for you.. What took you so long
He was standing beside me.. The strong smell of cologene it felt diffrent... I knew him he did not use this colugene.. I turned to look at him his dark eyes filled with... Anger.. He was angry but he looked hot.. I drank the sight of him..
Sam: emmy I'm speaking to you??
"Nothing Sam.. professor Erik wanted me to meet him.. I was with him.. "
I blushed remembering what had happened but I was confused to see Sam's anger on the mention of Erik's name.. He looked really furious..
Sam: he didn't trouble you. Did he? If he did he will have to pay for it...
Woah why was he being so protective of me... What is happening ??
"No Sam don't worry.. It was nothing personal just work related stuff.."
Sam: ohh ! OK then.. well I wanted to apologize..
He looked at me with an apologetic smile and continued
Sam: I'm sorry Emma.. The clothes of Erik.. It was me who kept them in your bag.. It was a dare.. Im really sorry.. If it caused you any trouble..
"Oh my god.. Why would you do that to me Sam.. Do you know what I had to face because of that.. Why me Sam ??"
Sam:Don't worry too much alright.. If you end up in trouble with him.. It would not be so worst.. Yea..
"Sam... How do I tell you ?? "
Sam: I'll take Care of it.. Emmy be careful of that guy... Yea.. He is trouble.. And I hate him so stay away.. I.. I dont like seeing you with him..
Wait did Sam tell me he didnt want me to be with him ??
"Ill try.. So I'll see you around.. Bye "
I left the stadium ground carrying my thoughts with me.. What was that even supposed to mean.. First this Erik guy pops out of nowhere and asks me to be his girlfriend and now after so many years Sam trying to be all protective with me.. What's going on... I reached my room.. I had to relax.. I took a hot bath.. Wore my comfortable clothes and sat on the sofa watching TV... Sam stayed nearby his room was 2 rooms away from mine just that he was richer than me so he stayed in an apartment.. I was trying to relax but then I heard someone knocking on my door.. I opened the door only to find Erik.. I blinked twice
"What are you doing here.. How do you know its my room.. ??"
Erik: woah.. Easy there honey.. I didnt know this trash is where you live.. I was just searching for my apartment I wanted some directions that's all..
I felt relieved..
"Which apartment are you looking for ?"
He gave me a card and said..
Erik: this.., some Sunshine apartment..
I looked at the card again ...
its where Sam lives.. I thought of seeing Sam.. I'm sure he'd be happy to see me..
" I know where it is.. I'll take you.. "
Erik: great so miss angry bird is going to help me.. Yup today is my lucky day.. so I'll take you up on the offer lead the way..
Whatever he said didnt matter to me what mattered was I'd be seeing Sam.. I took a good look of myself in the mirror and lead the way to his apartment.. on the way i saw Erik was trying to ask me something..
" what is it.. Just say it.."
Erik: ohh so you do know to read someone's expression.. Well I wanted to ask you about the offer I gave you.. Will you agree...
" Uhh.. I didnt think about that.. but why do you want me to be your girlfriend.."
Erik: yea.. I have this girl and she won't leave me.. we were friends I didn't expect her to fall in love with me.. And now she won't leave me unless I have a girlfriend and I really could use some help.. Will you help me.. Its just to pretend..
"And what makes you think I'll agree ?"
Erik: I do have something to offer.. I'll help you get an internship letter from the best fashion designer college.. Till then I'll let you work with my friend.. "Rianna Walker"..
"What.... Did you say Rianna walker the editor of the fashion magazine.. The most wanted woman in the fashion world.. If you are lying to me you're so dead.. You are joking right..
Erik: woah.. Easy there... I knew you were into fashion but I didnt know you were so involved... So I guess now we have a deal...
I thought for a while then I said
" Well if its for a good reason I'll do"
Erik: perfect.. one more thing not only should you be my girlfriend in front of her but everyone else too because she has to believe that I really love someone and its real.. so please don't tell anyone our secret.. She has eyes and ears everywhere.. So she'll definitely come to know if we get caught so please be my girlfriend..
"Sure no problem, this is your apartment.. So I'll take my leave.. "
He grinned
Erik: thank you so much for walking with me till here.. I owe you.. My dear girlfriend.."
Voice: GIRLFRIEND...
I and Erik turned towards the direction of the voice only to see Sam standing with rage in his eyes.. I could tell.. I never saw him so furious before..
Sam: how dare you call her your girlfriend... I warned you to stay away from her..
While saying he hit Erik in the face.. Erik fell to the ground and I rushed towards him...
"Erik ..."
I was going to tell Sam that it was just fake but Erik held my hand tightly and I kept myself calm..
" please Sam its not what you think it is.. Just leave us alone... Please.."
I could see Sam was confused.. He was trying to search for an answer..
Sam: no.. I won't leave at least I won't leave you with him.. Emmy.. Why.. Please come with me..
Erik: Emma please go to your room and have rest I'll see you in the morning.. Thank you so much for guiding me here..
Saying this he turned and went into his room... I saw Sam in the eye for the first time I had courage to speak to him
" You are not a child anymore.."
I glarred at him and went my way...
Why did Sam react in this way.. Was he being protective.. Or
is Sam jealous..
