THIRD PERSON'S POV
--------------------Her eyes fluttered open at the ruffling and shuffling sounds around her.
She realized how she was laid on an old couch and all she could see by her half opened eyes was a small fire ignited at the other corner of the room in the hearth.
She tried to get up but her head only throbbed harder in pain.
"Y/n?", the prince instantly hurried towards the princess leaving the wood logs in his hand, watching as she held her head in pain.
"Are you fine princess?", he asked slightly impatient waiting for her to answer sitting besides her on the couch.
"Devil is a card of vices and excess...."
Her hold on her hair tightened as the words ringed in her mind.
"Who would have thousands slaughtered for her...."
Her breaths shallowed with tears continuously cascading down her eyes.
She cried in pain, now pressing her hands harder against her ears wishing for the painful whispers to not to reach her ears.
"But the dark love it is, it perpetually persists."
"Ahhhhh!!!!", she screamed out loud in pain which might have echoed in the whole forest.
And now all the voices suddenly went dead. Again spreading the gravely silence.
"Y/n?", the prince seemed baffled as he instantly engulfed the breathless princess in a warm hug.
He softly rubbed her back while she tried to catch her lost breath.
The room.... The w-witch....
She soon remembered the face of the witch and all the incidents that happened earlier.
Pushing the prince with a little force, getting out of his embrace, she frantically looked around in search of the door which lead her to that mysterious room and enigmatic creature, but to her surprise there was no door.
Not even a single one.
Her eyes narrowed as she instantly got up from her place and reached her hand over the place where she saw the door earlier but now existed just a plain wall.
Was it all her dream?
"Princess...."
Her head turned towards the prince who was standing at a little distance, looking at her completely perplexed.
