Confused by Asaru and the rest, he questioned Kurumi.
Asaru: I'm sorry? What is this 'Material A' you're talking about?
Kurumi: You mean who I'm talking about? The people who captured all of you held another Spirit somewhere in one of their facilities. I had my clones looking for this Spirit around the Japan Branch we were in, but nothing.
Iosse: What does this have to do with us?
Kurumi: (giggles) I'm glad you asked. The thing is I'm sure one of you overheard one of those DEM employees talking about where this Spirit is being held. And I don't suppose you know anything from them.
Just as Kurumi said that, Shinzaya remembered.
Shinzaya: Actually, I think I do.
Their attention is aimed directly at her.
Kurumi: (smirks) Is that so?
She nods.
Shinzaya: It's true.
(Flashback from earlier)
Shinzaya (Present): When we were captive and experimented on, I began to eavesdrop on those people. The thing is, luckily, I forgot to use telepathy to hear their minds and conversations. So, I began to hear the conversation.
Shinzaya felt curious from the conversation as she began to listen.
Scientist 1 (echo): All of this experimentation, it's unethical and cruel. And, I know I don't know anymore about Spirits or Dark Spirits, but they don't really deserve this!
Scientist 2 (echo): Including Material A at that other compound Nebryl Island?
Scientist 1 (echo): Exactly. They've experimented on her for almost 5 years now! She couldn't to handle all of that!
Scientist 2 (echo): Still, we can't disobey Mr Westcott's orders. If we do, his subordinate, Ellen Mathers might rip us to shreds.
Shinzaya (Present): And that's where you showed up....
(Flashback ends)
Shinzaya: I guess somehow fate really wants us to meet....somehow.
Iosse: (scoffs) Talk about a miracle.
Asaru: Not now, Brother. (Turns to Shinzaya) Good thing you came along with us.
Shinzaya: We're family. And we always stick together.
Kurumi: So you know where they kept this Spirit.
Shinzaya: One of them said it was Neryl Island, one of their bases.
Kurumi: I see. I'll look into into it then.
She then walks away.
Asaru: Wait.....That's it?
She stops and turns around to see all the Dark Spirits confuse as some of them chatter in the background.
Asaru: You're leaving?
Kurumi: (giggles) Of course! You should be thankful I got all of you out of there. And I should thank you for telling what I need. You're all off the hook, after all~
Iosse: Well.......Thanks then....
Shinzaya: Yeah....Thank you for that. Really.
Asaru: You have our thanks, Kurumi Tokisaki.
Kurumi: Fufufufufu~
Just then, she has a thought that came as she speaks to the Dark Spirits as she maintains her smile.
