All Is Lost...

Long nights. Scarry nights.

We rush into the emergency room, and Dawson has Olivia bridal style in his arms. I run up to the front and start talking fast, "My best friend tried to commit suicide! We need help she lost a lot of blood!"
"Okay sweetie go take a seat for one moment," she responds back not even looking up from her computer.
"Lady, look! Get this girl a doctor now, or else she's going to die, and we can't let that happen!" Dawson practically yells, looking at the lady and back at Olivia. This time the lady looked up and seen Olivia and rushed to get a doctor. Seconds later Dawson set Olivia down In a bed that has been brought out for us and she was wheeled away. We followed, but doors where closed in our faces down the hall. I stared crying and shaking for the second time this week. I sink to the floor against the wall and put my head on my knees. Then I feel Dawson pick me up off the ground and hold me in his arms; I am still leaning in the wall but he is hugging me tight. He holds me for what feels like hours, but I know it has only been minutes. Dawson checks his watch, it's 7:00, we have only been standing here for about 25 minutes. Start lightly sobbing again, two of my best friends are in the hospital and I am breaking down.
"It's okay baby girl, in here with you, your not alone remember that" Dawson whispers as he rubs my back.
"I knew I never should have let he go home alone!" I pause, "she was upset and I should have went with her," I finish.
"No Jen, it's not your fault, you couldn't change it," he try's to tell me.
"I should have done something though, she's hurt now, she could die," I argue with him.
We are still in the hallway and a doctor walks by and asks us to go to the waiting room, so we head there. We sit in chairs and he pulls up the arm rest and pulls me closer, he cuddles me and rubs my back.
At 10 o'clock a doctor comes out and asks for us. We walk up to him and he says, "we have stopped the bleeding with Olivia and have her stabilized,"
I start crying and near fall to the ground.
"Any ideas why she tried to do this?" The doctor asks
"Yes, so her boyfriend could have her kidney, Logan, log-,"
"Oh yes! I remember Olivia now. Such a shame, but we think she will be okay," the doctor tells us.
"Thank god!" I excitedly say through the tears, " I don't know if I could have lived with my self if she wasn't gonna live," I finish.
I tell the doctors Olivia's parents names, and give him a contact number. He contacts them and they are on a flight home. We aren't allowed to go see Olivia yet, only her parents are. We decide to wait in the hospital so we go see logan on the other side of the hospital. He's still doing ok but he needs and kidney. Dawson and I talk a lot. He says he's going to donate a kidney for logan as soon as he can. Dawson is taking one last test tomorrow and we will find out what he's going to do tomorrow as well. It's now 12 o'clock and I fall asleep on the couch in Dawson's arms.

When I wake up I open my eyes and stretch my arms. I look up and see a sleeping Dawson. I grab my phone out of my back pocket and check the time. It's 6:29 and I have 2 texts from my mom.
"Hey Jen... Where are you?"
"When are you coming home?"
"Never mind I know where you are now sweetie. Hope your okay I love you"
"Are you going to school today hunny?" The last one was only 20 minutes ago so I text back, "I won't be going today, I am going to wait here and see Olivia, love you!" I get a text back right away,
"Ok that's fine! I love you lots," is what she said. I put my head back on Dawson's chest and try and sleep longer with him. A few minutes later I feel him move a bit and wrap his arms around me tighter. I snuggle closer.
"Morning beautiful," he says sleepily.
"Morning daws," I say back.
"should we go see how Olivia's doing?" He asks me.
"Ya, let me go fix my hair first," I Reply.
"Why! It already looks beautiful!" He says with a lot of confidence. I laugh and reply,
"It only looks beautiful to you though!" With that I hop of the couch and go to the bathroom of Logan's room. I get fixed up and go back out. I let Dawson go in a use the washroom and fix his hair. Then we go and find Liv.
