All Is Lost...

Texting?

As I sit in my room talking to heather, my best friend from Alberta, I feel my phone buzz in my pocket! I told Heather I had to go and looked to see who it was! The text said
"Hey, is this Jenna?"
"Yes. Who is this?" I reply
"Good! Hey Jenna it's Dawson, from school!"
"Oh haha. Hi Dawson! What's up? "
"Nothing much... Wbu?"
"I'm just in my room unpacking a few things!"
"Oh, well what do you say you take a break and give me ur address so I can pick you up, to go for a snack at the little cafe down town?"
" Ya sure! I live on 32 Olivier lane! Do you know where that is? "
"Ya of course, I'm like 2 blocks away! "
"Lol... When do u wanna pick me up?"
"Does 10 minutes work for you? "
"Ya sure I'll see you then" I say as the last text! I can't believe he wants to take me out! He's probably just being nice but you never know! I make sure my hair and makeup is fine and then go down stairs to tell mom since dad is at work till 6 or so.
"Mom I'm going out" I yell
"I can't hear you, come in the kitchen Jen"she yells back
"Oh there you are! I'm going out for a bit ok?"
"Ya sure, with who ?"
"I guy his names Dawson, he's really nice!" I start " he's taking me to a cafe down town!"
"Okay Jen" she says smiling " here's ten dollars and be carful!"
"Always am mom! Love you bye! "
I go outside and he pulls up a minute later in jeep tj that I love! The roof is of and the doors since it's still hot here and I hope in!
"Hey! I love your jeep! "I say
"Haha thanks she's a beauty eh?"
"Hahaha Canadian I can see! And ya she sure is! "
"Haha I say that a lot!" He says kind of embarrassed.
"Haha that's okay! So do I to be honest! "
"Lol first thing in common!"
"Haha but our first thing in common was I love your jeep!"
"Oh yea! You will have to come with me in it more often then!"
"I'd love that! "
We pulled up to the cafe and hoped out. He got a order of a hamburger with wedges and I got a chicken Caesar wrap! I left my money with him to pay but when I cam back he gave me my ten dollars back! He payed how sweet! We talked about each other and got to know each other and it was fun! When we were done he said
"Let's do it again! How about Friday we will go see a movie!"
"Ya sure I don't have plans!"
" What movie would you like to see? Have you seen divergent?"
"Yes! And I'm dying to see insurgent!"
"Same lol! Wanna go see that then!?"
"Ya sure! Can't wait "
When he drops me of I am so happy! Maybe he likes me! I wonder could he really though!? Maybe! All I know is I can't wait till Friday!

The next day at school I see Olivia and logan kiss! I ask Dawson if they are dating and he said yep! Apparently they have been dating for 4 months! It's so cute they are perfect for each other! Bryanna approaches me at lunch and asks if I would like to go down street and get lunch with her! I say yes and follow her!
"So, how long have u been here for?" She says.
""Since August 17th." I reply.
"Cool! have you been to the beach just outside town yet?"
"No" I say "is it nice?"
"Omg yes!! We have to go! It's the best beach I've been to! Wanna go tonight?"
"Sure!"
"Sweet! It's gonna be so fun! Pick you up at like 4?"
"Ya! I will be ready!" I start "its warmer here for longer then it is in Alberta!"
"Ya haha I love it! Do you like it here so far?"
"Yes! It's great! And you guys are so nice!"
"Awh thanks girl! Call me Bry if you want!"
"Okay! A lot of people called me Jen so go ahead if you wanna too! "
"Ok! They can be our nicknames then! I'm so exited for later but for now let's go get our food!"
I got a caesar salad and Bry got a summer salad! They were amazing! During science later that day me and Olivia got paired together! I was so excited, I really wanna get to know her!
