Lyra stroked Bo's face and smiled as he nuzzled her. The moment didn't last long, suddenly he threw his head up and stood rigid staring at something in the distance behind Lyra. "What is it, what do you see?" She asked him turning round to look. She could hear Bonnie shouting but was too distracted by her horses abnormal behaviour to listen to her. Too quickly for her to even realize something wrapped around her, placed something over her mouth to prevent any screaming and carried her off. She kicked and squirmed but she was becoming increasingly drowsy. They must have put something on the material over her face. She craned her neck and squinted up at her abductor, she wasn't sure if it was whatever was making her sleepy or if she was actually looking at such a horrifying creature. It appeared to be humanoid but with hands like a prehistoric reptile, elongated talons held her tightly. It had her cradled in its arms as though she were a baby. No, she thought, it must be my imagination.. She was sure it had two extra arms! She tried hard to focus on it's face but her vision was clouded and becoming darker as her eyes struggled to stay open, as it looked down at her and their eyes met she clamped hers shut, horrified by the face that looked back at her, gaping mouth as if its jaw had been unhinged and unforgiving eyes that shone black. The last thing she saw was a distorted smile.

"It's okay, you're all right, you're safe here!" The Doctor tried to reassure Bonnie who was pinned up against the door, not quite able to comprehend what was going on. "How is it okay?" her voice didn't come out as confident as she had wanted, she looked at this strange man, what a funny way to dress she thought as she caught sght of his bow tie. The Doctor saw her looking at it with distaste, "Bow ties are cool" he said smoothly as he straightened it and smiled. Bonnie wasn't sure what it was about this man but he had a way of making her feel calm. Behind him a red haired girl was walking towards her, "Hi, I'm Amy and judging by that accent I'm guessing we are in Scotland?" she looked at the doctor, "What's your name?"

"Um.. Yes, we are, erm, I'm Bonnie" Amy seemed nice but Bonnie definitely didn't fancy the thought of her angry. "This is the Doctor" Amy gestured at the funny man. Bonnie had just remembered in all the excitement that she had left Lyra outside! In fact she wondered why Lyra hadn't come pushing in to find out why she had been left with the horses and where Bonnie had gotten to. "Uhh, Lyra, where is she?"

"Who's Lyra?" Amy asked

"My friend, she was right outside with the horses"

"I never saw anybody else" Amy thought to herself, this girl must have such an imagination

"Ah, perception filter, pretty strong one at that!" The doctor started, "I saw her because I knew the TARDIS had detected two life forms, well four if you count the horses-"

"That purple thing we picked up?"

"Exactly! And im guessing you came into direct contact with it as well?" Bonnie nodded at him, "That's why you could still see your friend after she took it from you"

"So, where is she?"

"Well.. Uh, that's the bad news the Doctor walked up to the console and invited Bonnie to sit on the chairs, Amy sat next to her. "I'm afraid" he looked at her with sympathy in his eyes as crouched down in front of her, "Your friend was taken by something, probably the owner of the perception filter." Bonnie's face fell, she was unsure if this was one of Bonnie's elaborate pranks or a dream or if infact it was all reality, she thought back to last night, they were both laughing eating their ice cream and then she remembered, "The blue lightening" she murmured, Amy looked at the Doctor. "Yes, whatever this is, the blue lightening is when it came. Did you notice anything strange after that happened?" The Doctor could see that was all too muc for Bonnie to take in at once, he took her hand and looked at her, "I wouldn't ask if it wasn't importaint, I promise you, I will find your friend and return both of you safely" Amy put her arm around Bonnie, "He means it" She told her. Bonnie looked at the floor remembering, "Well... There was a power cut"
