I dreaded school. It wasn't just the endless tests (in every subject, I mean a test in P.E. is a little excessive, no?) It wasn't just the crowds of sweaty teens leaking hormones. Hell, it wasn't even my Spanish 3 class, which I really had no business being in (honestly not sure how I managed to pass the two preceding classes of Spanish 3.)

The only reason I truly dreaded school was because of its repeated routine. 5 days a week, 7:30-2:30, the same eight classes, all containing the same principles. Learn, in force said learning with homework, and test what was taught.

I despised normalcy but, sadly, I was slave to its continued cycle.

It felt like I was waiting for something, what that something was I had no idea. But I could feel it in my bones, I was ready to move on to something bigger, something better.

And even though I was anticipating this great big something, I never really thought it would happen. So when it did, well, imagine my surprise.
