-Blaze POV-

He won't stop crying. Even as I hold him and rub his back he won't stop and I'm not good with comforting people.

I thought the contact would calm him but I'm understanding he has no idea what's happening and the intense urges are frightening him.

I don't know what else to do so in one quick swoop I lift him.

He gasps in surprise but before he can say anything I take hold of the back of his head and guide his face into my neck. Then I release calming pheromones.
I had released some before but they did little to calm him. I deduced that even though his body is technically omega he never completed the change so his senses are all human.

Taking it in at the source should be better.
The weeping instantly halts as Leif inhales deeply. His entire body sighs as he relaxes into my embrace and his arms and legs wrap tightly around me.

His wet face burrows into my neck as he coos softly. I gently rub his back as his breathing slowly returns to normal.

I can feel people staring but I try to ignore them as I walk around in circles holding Leif like a baby needing comfort.

Satisfied with having subdued my little one I turn to see how Micah is doing.

His mate is still huddled up inside the bus stop weeping hysterically while Micah paces outside the bus stop.

That isn't going to work. His human nose can't detect them from that far away.
I tell him as he pushes out more and more pheromones to calm his mate.

Micah halts mid step and turns to me. He takes in the sight of Leif and I and his shoulders droop in defeat.

He's afraid of me. He won't let me touch him.
He reply's and the pain in the statement reverberates inside my mind longer than his words do.

No brother. He isn't afraid of you. He's afraid of what the mating bond is making him feel. Take a deep breath, Alpha up, and handle it before I do.

My statement incites him and a low growl starting deep within him escapes.

The color of his eyes change letting me know that Asher would never let another alpha comfort his mate.

But that bothers me none as I watch him duck into the bus stop to retrieve his mate.

A moment later Micah is carrying him out of the bus stop and guiding his face into his neck. The effect is instantaneous as the weeping body halts mid cry.

Just like Leif the small body sighs into the scent and relaxes.

As his mate relaxes so does my brother and I can't help but smile.

Feel better?

He looks to me and nods slowly as reply.

Good cause we have an audience let's get back to the truck.

Micah's brows furrow, Can we just take them?

Are you worried about human laws? We answer to the moon goddess. They belong to us.

Blaze...they're humans. They may have wolves deep inside but they are human. We have no choice but to treat them as such. We shouldn't frighten them.

I roll my eyes as I turn back towards the parking lot.

They aren't frightened. Not of us. Now move your ass I don't like this many people watching my mate in this state.
I say as I gently stroke the back of Leif's head of short black curls.
