CHAPTER 2

Ayra was so angry that her ears turn red. She is no longer in the mood to shop now. She went to the cashier and settled her bills.

She dialed Ayna's number and ask her to come out.

"And if you don't come out in the next five minutes, then you can just hire a Taxi and come home." She added sounding impatient.

"But sis..............."

Beep!

Before Ayna could finish speaking, she heard the dial tone.

Huh?

She was stunned by her sister's unstable mood. She always spoils the fun with her mood swings.

Even today, Ayra was the one who suggested that they should go out. That's when they decided to do a small shopping. Afterwards they'll go to the Colour Sort Garden

Ayra opened the backseat and threw the bags inside before she slumped on the driver's seat waiting for Ayna to come out.

Five minutes passed ....

Ten minutes....

Fifteen minutes....

Ayra couldn't take it anymore. She picked up her phone which was by her side.

Just when she was about to dial Ayna's number, she saw her coming out with of the mall with big shopping bags in her hands.

Ayna carefully placed the bag in the backseat of the car. She opened the front seat and sat down elegantly.

In order to rush back here I ran into a troublesome clerk

Ayra didn't bother to reply her. She started the car and reversed.

As she was about to exit the mall, she caught a glimpse of someone. It was the man she met earlier in the mall.

She quickly stopped the car and stared at him critically as he walks towards his car. Ayna also followed her sister's gaze and looked at his direction

He opened his car and put the bags inside. Just as he was about to close it, his phone started ringing.

He checked the caller ID and saw that it's his childhood friend. He placed the phone on his ear and pursed his lips not saying a word.

"Hey buddy. Where are you right now?" the person on the other end asked.

"City mall" he answered briefly.

" Can you please wait for me there. I have something very important to discuss with you. I'll be there in five minutes."

"Okay" the man said and disconnected the call.

From the way he answered the call, Ayra understood
that he is a man of few words.

After keeping the call. He bent down a little and took something from one of the shopping bags.

He closed the car and went to sit on the booth of the car.

He looked at the chocolate in his hand and smiled for a moment recalling the look on Ayra's face at that moment.

He unwrapped the chocolate and took a bite. He subconsciously closed his eyes as the sweet taste spread in his mouth. The feeling is new. He felt as if he's just a newborn baby who has no care about the world. He took another bite with his eyes closed.

Ayra on the other hand was looking at him intently. When she learned that he has dived into another world of ecstasy, she smiled and smugly and unbuckled her seatbelt.

He was deeply engrossed in the mood that he failed to notice Ayra who's jogging towards him. She extended her hand and snatched the chocolate away.

He opened his eyes lazily and glanced at her with a frown.

His gaze was cold and sharp.
