It's Saturday and I'm exhausted but I still managed to get up and go out with Nini and Gina because why not.

We go to the mall which is super busy but nini needs to go to the Croc store so she can get new Crocs so we turned it into a whole friend date munis Kourtney who's working.

"So what color Crocs do you want?" Gina asks nini

"The tie-dye ones"

"They are cute"

"I know right? I'm so glad I outgrew my Crocs"

"Well let's get them"

"Omg we should get matching jibbitz"

"Let's get the little red heart"

"Good idea"

My phone buzzes in my pocket so I grab it and check what it is just to see an Instagram notification saying that EJ followed me.

"look EJ followed me" I say showing them my phone

"Don't you hate him?" Gina asks

"Nah he's actually been kinda great recently" I say smiling to myself.

"You say recently, as if he did something wrong to you" Gina points out

"You know what I mean," I say

"Okay well follow him back" nini says

"Okay give me a second" as I open my phone to see his profile which is actually aesthetically pleasing with perfect pictures and gym photos which make me feel weird Inside

"What's taking so long?"

"Oh n-nothing"

"No you're realizing he's cute "  Gina says

"What? No psshh it's EJ why would I think he's cute?"

"Why wouldn't you?" Nini asks

"Good point" Gina says and they high five

"I'm gonna pay you guys any mind," I say as they walk up to the counter to pay.

Later that day I just stare at my ceiling wondering what the hell is going on in my head. why does my heart flutter every time EJ is even mentioned? are my friends right when it comes to me liking EJ? Could EJ and I ever be a thing? My phone buzzes

EJ commented on your post the notification says

"Aww you look like a teddy bear" the comment says. My heart skips a beat is he saying I'm cute? Are teddy bears cute? I mean he wouldn't have said Aww If he didn't think I was cute right? Whatever it's just EJ joking around remember? He only does it for my reaction he said it himself just forget it.

I hate every second of this.

But respond with "very funny😒"

I don't need to put any thought into it because it's just a comment. nothing serious and I won't see EJ till Monday he'll forget about it.

I hear a knock on my door and I'm pulled away from my thoughts.

"Yes?"

"Dinner is ready," my dad says behind my door.

"Okay be down in a second"

I get up and take a deep breath before leaving my room I kinda stressed myself out.

Today my mom made pork chops with mashed potatoes and broccoli.
