You had always known that Changbin was the jealous type, but you never really saw it in action until now. You were at a party with some of your friends, and one of them happened to be an ex-boyfriend of yours. You didn't think much of it, as you and your ex were still on good terms and were just catching up.
But as you were chatting with your ex, you noticed that Changbin was giving you an icy glare from across the room. You tried to brush it off and continue your conversation, but the longer you talked, the more intense Changbin's glare became.
Eventually, your ex excused himself and went to talk to someone else, leaving you standing there alone. You turned to look for Changbin, but he had disappeared. You started to worry that something was wrong, so you went in search of him.
You found him outside on the balcony, his back turned to you. When you approached him, he didn't even turn around to acknowledge you.
"Changbin, what's wrong?" you asked, placing a hand on his shoulder.
He shrugged your hand off and finally turned to face you. His expression was cold and distant, a stark contrast to the warm and loving boyfriend you were used to.
"You were flirting with your ex-boyfriend," he spat out, his voice low and harsh.
You were taken aback by his accusation. "What? No, I wasn't. We were just catching up."
Changbin's eyes narrowed. "You were laughing at his jokes, and you were leaning in closer to him. That's flirting."
You sighed, feeling frustrated. "Changbin, you know that I love you. I'm not interested in anyone else."
He scoffed. "Actions speak louder than words, Y/N. And your actions tonight were telling a different story."
You could feel tears starting to form in your eyes. "Changbin, please don't be like this. You're the only one I want."
He looked at you for a long moment, his expression softening slightly. "I know, Y/N. I'm sorry. I just can't stand the thought of losing you."
You stepped closer to him and wrapped your arms around his waist. "You're not going to lose me, Changbin. I'm not going anywhere."
He pulled you close, burying his face in your hair. "I love you, Y/N. More than anything."
"I love you too, Changbin," you whispered, feeling relieved that he wasn't angry anymore.
As you stood there on the balcony, wrapped in each other's arms, you knew that your relationship with Changbin was stronger than any fleeting flirtation with an ex.
After a few moments, Changbin pulled away and looked at you seriously. "Y/N, can we talk about something?"
You nodded, curious about what he had to say.
"I don't want you to think that I don't trust you," he said, his voice softening. "It's just...I've been hurt before, and I don't want to go through that again."
You understood what he meant. Changbin had been in a toxic relationship in the past, and it had left him with deep emotional scars.
"I know, Changbin," you said gently. "And I appreciate that you care about me enough to be jealous. But you don't have to worry about me. I'm not going anywhere."
He smiled at you, a hint of his usual warmth returning. "I know that, Y/N. And I'm sorry for overreacting."
You smiled back at him, feeling relieved that the tension between you had dissipated. "It's okay, Changbin
