Fengjiu sat in her room. Her eyes closed as she listened to her surroundings. When you close your eyes your ears pick up things you never thought about. She was about to leave her room to go eat when she felt something strange. A presence that was very familiar. She let out a small chuckle.
"Donghua"
A strong arm wrapped around her waist and pulled her closer.
"Hello, Love." A deep voice spoke out. Donghua looked at his wife and smiled. She had been away for a day and he missed her so soon.
"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in Taichen Palace?"
"I can't visit my girlfriend?"
Girlfriend? Fegnjiu knew that donghua never asked to be her boyfriend and also wondered how he knew about dating culture since the nine heavnes is all about marriage and imperial consorts. Dating wasn't a step in between. You simply propose and marry.
"Dijun, how do you know about dating culture. I don't remeber telling you about it."
Donghua sighed. Fengjiu had told him all about dating in the past before he had died and before everyone had lost their memory. but he can't tell fengjiu that. So he thought of a lie that wasn't really a lie but sort of was a lie.
"Mm. I asked the star lord."
"Oh so--i'm your girlfriend now?" Fengjiu blushed. She had wanted to ask dijun about this but she was unsure of what she would say to him. SHe wasn't necessarily shy bt when it came to donghua things were a little different.
"Mhm. My girlfriend."
Donghua then took fengjiu to eat. Well he wanted to before fengjiu dragged him to a really good resteraunt that she used to go with her aunt. That was beofre her aunt got married. ye hua always keeps bai Qian with him so fengjiu never gets any more time with her aunt. That's one reason she didn't like Yehua. but he was the crown prince and she couldn't just tell him to give her bai Qian. She was pretty sure that's not how it worked.
The couple sat down near teh corner of the store. As fengjiu was teh queen of qinqiu everyone knew her. SHe was lively and kind and everyone loved their queen. So when she walked into teh resteraunt nearly everyone had gotten up to bow to her. Then there was donghua. Of course everyone knew donghua. he was teh former heavenly emperor, he was donghua dijun. He was the most powerful god to ever roam the three realms.
Of course it was shocking for them as no one hs ever really seen donghau dijun outside of taichen palace...or anywhere really. The only way they knew tht he was donghua dijun was because of the fact that he had white hair. Even during the tiem that donghua was the heavenly emperor he handled most of the heavens affairs without consulting wiht anyone outside or he was in war.
Donghau watched as fengjiu ordered almost everythign on the menu. he took a simple moment to look at her and admire her beauty. It had only been a few days since he came back and moments like this was what he craved during the time he was gone. Fengjiu turned to ask him what he had wanted to eat and in reality he wasn't hungry he just guessed fengjiu would be hungry and fengjiu loved to eat so he took thim to eat.
"I'm not hungry." He said as he continued to stare at fengjiu and fengjiu blushed.
The two were in their own world meanwhile the waiter was troubled. Should he walk away...or should he interupt them? He stood there for a moment contemplating his entire life while the couple in front of him flirted without a care in the world. After a second or so he abruptly turned around and fast-walked to hand the order to the chef.
Their food was soon brought over and fengjiu started eating almost immediatley and donghua watched her lovingly and was content watchign her eat. But then once in a while fengjiu would pick up her chopcticks and grab a piece of chicken or fruit or a bowl of rice and reahc over to feed donghua. And donghua at first, reluctant, eventally gave up and let her feed him, not once picking up his own chopsticks. Once the two were done they paid for the food and fengjiu decided to take a walk and donghua obviously joined her. Hand in hand the couple walked along a quiet part of town where only a few people walk by.
"Donghua dijun. I have a complaint to make." Fengjiu said breakign the comfortable silcence between the two.
"Mm." A complaint? Did he do something wrong?
"Crown Prince Yehua needs to stop preoccupying my aunt. It's been a while since their wedding and I didn't get to even look at her since. " fengjiu whined and donghua chuckled.
"Xiao Bai, it's their honeymoon."
"So? I can't see my aunt." She pulled out her doe eyes hoping they would convince donghua to persuade yehua to give her aunt back.
"Honeymoon duties cannot be interuppted my love." Donghua said makign fengjiu blush. She remembered that night again. Fengjiu would not like it if they got interupppted during their sessions so indeed it was not proper to ask the crown prince to give his up.
"Fine. But--once their honeymoon is done I want a week with my aunt."
"3 days."
"A week."
"3 days."
"Fine."
"We also need time to do our own honeymoon duties." donghau said pulling fengjiu closer by the waist causing her to blush, probably for the hundredth time today.
Donghau was short and curt with his words but when he did speak more than a few words it never failed to make fengjiu blush.
