Once Isadora woke up her and Quigley both went to the store as mrs.K gave them some money and a grocery list

*Third person pov*

"Soooo Quigley." Said Isadora walking beside Quigley and the basket as they walk the isles

"What" he said as he looks at the list

"You and y/n......." She said whispering to him with a cheeky smile

His cheeks flushed as he just kept pushing the basket

"So you do like her Huh" she said excitedly

"Maybe, but I mean-" he cut himself off right there stopping his movement

"What" she asked she said turning to him

"Last night, she was cuddling with Duncan." He in a hushed tone said resuming his shopping

"Well if you think about it this way." Isadora says

"Who'd she run to when the clown popped through the projection?" She said to him trying to reason

"Me." He said he breathed out as he grabs cereal and puts it in the basket

"But she also ran and hugged Duncan." He said he said turning to isadora

"Yeah cause he was all alone, he had no one to cling too when it all happened." She explains

He looked off into space replaying the event in his head

'She's right no one clung to Duncan he was in the corner by himself.' He thinks in his head

"Who did she ask to go get the syrup." She said bringing him out of his thoughts

"Me, but that was only cause I was the second person awake." He said pouting

"Ok let's make a bet if when we get back she's hugging or hanging close to Duncan then you get ten dollars if she runs and gives you a hug then you give me ten dollars, deal." She say as she puts her hand out

He thought about it for a good minute

"Deal" he sighs as they shook hands

"Ok we're all done let's go back" she says as she looks at the basket

When they got there you and the other boys ran from the hallway to them

"Eddie get the bags" you instructed since Eddie was ahead of you

He nodded and did so

"Richie set up" You said

And he did as he put plates out on the table

You gave Isadora and Quigley a hug

Them still standing side by side at the door when they came in

"What were you guys doing?" Asked Isadora she said as she slyly passed a two five dollar bills into Quigley's hand behind their backs

"Richie and Eddie were talking about comics and me and Duncan were hanging out together." You said

Quigley slid one of the five dollar bills back into Isadora's hand behind their backs

When you turned away Quigley looked at Isadora with a 'I was right' face and isadora rolled her eyes
