Richie's POV
"Stanley why does it matter which comes first? It's just cereal." I said to Stan.
"Because It's just common sense!" Stanley said as he was irritated by my existence at the moment.
"But I don't understand!I need you to explain it to me." I said, Stanley looked as if he was going to explode and Bill but a hand on his shoulder trying to calm him down.
"It's b-because you p-put the solid b-before the liquid R-richie. It's like p-putting dr-dressing on salad, you p-put it on a-after." Bill said, still calming Stan down.
"Ohhhh, okay! Thank you for explaining." I said.
"Hey guys!" Said a voice from behind me.
"Hey Ed's!" Bill said as Eddie sat next to me.
"What's wrong with Stan?" Eddie said as he opened his backpack.
"A-ask Richie." Bill replied as he looked over at me.
"What did you do Richie." Eddie said sounding sarcastically annoyed.
"I didn't do anything but ask him why milk comes second!"
"Are you serious! It's common sense." Eddie said as he turned to me with a surprised look on his face.
"Oh come on, not you too Eds!" I said as I rolled my eyes.
Eddie laughed a little when he turned around, his smile was so cute and pure. I turned back around so I wouldn't get caught staring.
After school :)
I was waiting outside for Eddie while talking to Bill who was waiting for Stan.
"Sooo, what you and Stan doing?" I asked while dragging my words and leaning closer to Bill, being purposely annoying.
"We're w-working on a present-tation in the library. What about y-you and E-Eddie?" Bill said.
"We're going to the arcade, then we're gonna go to my house and make out maybe." I said jokingly.
"I d-don't think you sh-should say that, Rich." Bill said while looking to the side but I didn't notice.
"What's he gonna do? Hit me with his spray me with his battery acid from his inhaler?" I said as I crossed my arms.
"Who's gonna spray you with his battery acid?" Stan asked.
"Eddie" I said without realizing that Stanley came outside with him.
"What the hell Rich?" Eddie said while punching my shoulder.
"What?!" I said while laughing, trying to act like I knew he was there, even though I nearly died after hearing his voice.
"It's not battery acid, you slime. Now, are you ready to go or not?" Eddie asked while adjusting his backpack.
"Yeah sure, and where did you get the name slime from?" I replied as I started walking.
"You seem gross I guess, and slime is gross too so yeah." He said while looking down and walking beside me.
"Wow Ed's, I'm offended you think that way of me. I'm gonna go cry now." I said as I turned around and started to walk backwards while looking at Eddie.
He walked faster to catch up and grabbed my hand. "Not now Rich, do that another time."
I didn't expect him to really do that, but I didn't have any time to think about it cause he started to run while pulling me along with him.
I laughed a little at the fact that he was holding my hand. "You must really love holding my hand, don't ya Ed's."
"Oh fuck off Richie, and stop calling me Ed's."
"Oh come on, admit you love it Ed's. It probably makes you feel butterflies in your stomach."
"Sorry Rich, I'm not gay. Plus, I'm taken." Eddie said slowing down his pace of walking.
"I'm not gay either Eddie, I'm also taken." I said but I was lying of course, I suspected Eddie was lying too.
"By who, a roach? If so, I actually feel bad. For the roach though, not you."
"Wow, I bet you're not even actually dating anyone and you're just lying."
"How dare you, you're probably just saying that because you're not actually dating anyone."
"Oh really, you know what. What's your so called girlfriends name then, hm?" I asked as I turned to him while still walking, we were kinda close to the arcade.
"Beverly Marsh."
"You're lying to me, she's literally my best friend and would tell me."
"Technically she is my girlfriend cause she's a girl and my friend." Eddie said while looking down.
"So that means I'm your boyfriend then?" I asked as I crossed my arms.
"Sure Richie. If that's what you want it to mean." He replied, then he walked ahead of me.
I stood there kinda confused as Eddie waited by the door. "What the fuck does that mean?"
"Hurry up the hell up Richie!" He said before entering the arcade.
