Me, Jamie, Misha and Adam arrived outside room 30 for our Geography class. Abbie hadn't chosen it as an option and therefore wasn't with us. A few more people arrived before the second bell sounded and Miss. Parker came out to quiet us down. Imogen and Corey came up behind me trying to hide the fact they were late; probably from sticking their tongues down each others throats. I giggled at Imogen and motioned for her to wipe her cheek that was smudged with lipstick. She smiled and thanked me awkwardly.

The buzz of voices was slightly louder than usual and I couldn't understand why until Miss.Parker reminded us of the new seating plan. Groans came from everyone, including me, bit Miss.Parker just rolled her eyes and called out the first person to be seated. "Storm?" she said as she looked at the sheet with her plan on. I felt a shiver when she said his name, but scanning around I couldn't see him anywhere. Realising no one replied, Miss.Parker looked up and moved her young bright eyes around us all. "No Storm?" We shook our heads and there was a quiet "yes!" from Jamie. Miss.Parker was just about to continue, when the door to the left of us opened and Storm stepped through. Judging by the look on his face, he was not in the mood for a geography lesson.

"You're late." Miss.Parker stated, folding her tanned arms. Storm's reply was forced out through gritted teeth. "Sorry, someone decided to break into my locker and , move all my stuff to a classroom on the other side of the school. He glared at Jamie who sniggered. I nudged him with my arm as if to say "shut up you're going to get caught", but I couldn't save Misha who decided to snort. Around 20 heads jolted up to look at her and she sniffed."Sorry, cold." Miss.Parker looked her up and down before turning back to Storm. "I'm sorry to hear that, we'll try and find out who did it. For now just go in and sit down, you're first table second chair on the side." Storm reluctantly scooted past half the class that were blocking the door and staring at him. Judging. He had just touched the door handle when Miss.Parker added "and that much , makeup isn't suitable for school." She smirked and there was a few snickers from everyone. Storm tensed, sighed trying to keep calm, pushed the door handle and went inside without another word.

Miss.Parker continued her process of calling out names and seats and as more and more people went in I got nervous as to who I'd be sitting next to. Jamie and Misha had been put on the same table, so me and Adam stood together, waiting. There was about seven people left when Miss.Parker finally called my name. I rose my hand and she smiled kindly at me. "You're first table, first chair on the side. " I felg my stomach drop. Was I right in thinking I was sat next to Storm? I was about to ask Miss.Parker, but I thought thst could lead to an awkward conversation about why I wanted to know, so I just took a quiet breath and walked in like everyone else. Most of them looked up to see who came in and Jamie shouted to me from the back table. "Where you sitting?" I looked down at the table that appeared to be the front and Storm was there - next to where I would be. Jamie must have judged that I was next to Storm because his face dropped, but quickly turned to one of mischief. "Oh I feel very sorry for you" he said with almost sincerity. I managed a smile that I hoped was big enough to fool him and pulled out my chair. Storm heard my chair move and looked up to see who it was. His eyes met mine again and I felt butterflies. I wondered what he thouht of me after everything that had happened and my emotion changed. I wanted to forget about him for a while, not sit next to him!
