"Maddam Sir"

Karishma Singh called out softly...so softly that she surprised herself too. She didn't know how but the cautiousness seemed to be invading her every thought and action then.

She couldn't think as much but all she knew was that she had to do everything in her power to keep her Maddam Sir safe and at that moment it felt as though even a loud word would break her.

Is Inspector Haseena Mallik directly or indirectly responsible for Constable Santosh Sharma's critical condition?

Is her ego for winning responsible for hampering the search for Constable Santosh Sharma?

As the SHO, is Inspector Haseena Mallik not responsible for overlooking the severely difficult mental health condition Santosh Sharma was facing?

And the TV blared loudly in the silence of the room along with Karishma Singh's rising fury.

"Won't I love to pull out their voice boxes for saying such untruthful things about Madam Sir" She hissed.

("Maiya kasam inki tetua dabake nikal na le Maddam Sir ke barei mei aise lavs bolne ki dusahas karne ke liye")

Amar Vidrohi who had been constantly clenching and unclenching his fist, finally took a an audible deep breathe. His blood was boiling at all the nasty things being said on television but he had to cool himself on order to play out his next moves.

"Karishma Singh please bring Sunny Chadda to the police station. He texted me that mob and his own colleagues are making it difficult for him to come here by himself."

"Yes Sir"

Amar nodded as Karishma retreated and then turned to the two men.

"Diwan ji make sure that the perimeter around the police station is secured and Billu set your networks to work and give me any update about the case"

Dismissing them both, Amar took another long breathe. Now he would have to take care of Haseena and he was scared from deep within him; scared that he would hurt her, especially now when she was so vulnerable.

Just then a voice spoke up in his unconscious mind, mocking and jeering at him.

'But pain and hurt is all you have given her since you came here Amar, always competed and annoyed her. What's making you believe you can do anything different now?'

Amar took a step back.
