Cyan Hair

*Ring Ring* An alarm was screaming at the top of its lungs. "Fuuuuck..." a toned and somewhat deep voice groaned as they picked up the phone, "I have 2 hours left before school starts.. ugh." The voice said, the wrinkling of bed sheets could be heard and footsteps leading into the bathroom soon after. The reflection of the mirror laid a half dead young man, eye bags, drool marks, and messy hair. "I look like shit!" The boy yelled into the mirror as he scrubbed his face with cold water. On his side was a photo stand with the name Kai on it, it showed a younger version of the boy in the mirror. Soon after Kai washed his face he hopped right into the shower...

"Ah that's refreshing." Kai said to himself as he walked into the living room with a towel covering.. whatever it's supposed to cover. Kai proceeded into the kitchen and made himself some eggs and toast, turned on the tv and shut his brain off.

Before Kai knew it he was already dressed, just waiting for school to start as he hung out on his couch. "20 minutes left.. whatever." Kai said as he opened his door and walked halfway across campus to get to the main school building, his plan was simple, walk around and mess around.

As soon as he got to school he went to his first period room and dropped off his backpack, "I'm sorry do you mind watching this, I gotta get something." Kai said sheepishly to the teacher, "No problem kid." The teacher said as he sipped on his coffee.

"Go time." Kai said to himself as he walked out of the classroom, turning on a timer. Kai was racing down the halls trying to find new ways to get around the school, he found a few. There were some on the roof, the second floor, and the cafeteria. Before he knew it his timer went off. "Damn. That's all the time I got-" Kai was cut off, someone had walked into him. She had cyan hair, and a pretty- no, a very pretty face. "Oh I'm sorry about that. Here let me help you." Kai said as he picked up the papers the beautiful girl in front of him dropped. "Thank you, thank you." She said sheepishly, clearly embarrassed. "Of course," Kai said as he handed her papers over, "Oh and I didn't catch your name" Kai added. "Thank you very much Kai, my name is Elaine. It's nice to meet you." Elaine said with a beautiful smile. "You too." Kai returned the friendly greeting.

"I couldn't help but notice, do you have Mr A for your first period?" Kai asked. "Actually I do! How'd you know?" Elaine asked completely lost. "Oh I saw it on your paper. I didn't mean to peek it was kinda just there." Kai said as he scratched the back of his neck sheepishly. "Oh no problem, actually let's walk together. I don't know anyone else here hah." Elaine said with a slight blush. "Sure thing!" Kai reassured her with a thumbs up and his stupid smile.

After a while of talking and walking they made it to their first class, they scanned the room for who looked interesting. Nobody did, everyone looked like a freshman. "That's a bummer." Elaine sighed. "What, why?" Kai asked with a question mark hanging above his head. "There's no hot guys in our class." Elaine said as she opened her eyes.

"What about me?" Kai said pointing to himself as he made a smile so bright that the sun would be ashamed. Elaine blushed for a second at the cute smile as she looked at him and scanned his face. Elaine was looking thoroughly at Kai's features, he was her type for sure, she brought her hand to his face and started rubbing his skin, "Uhm hello?" Kai asked. "W-what!?" Elaine yelled as she put her hands to her side and faced toward the floor. She didn't see it but Kai was blushing so much you could spot him from anywhere around the room. "Get a room!" Some kid in the back of the room with orange hair yelled. He was immediately eyed by everyone else, and some red haired boy hit him on the head, "Damn I'm sorry." The orange haired boy said as he backed off awkwardly.
