Chapter Three: The Mall

Beep! My phone went off, I got a new text message. Who could it be? Probably not my parents, and I didn’t really have too many friends. You can sort of call me a loner. People want to be my friend but I just ignore them. I am very talkative with people I like though, but I don’t click with most. I was very lucky to have joshy. I opened the message. I realized it was from an unknown number. It read it said, “So what’s up? Did I ever tell you how much I love you? Can you meet me at tomorrow night at 7? So, I can express my feelings. You will know who I am when you get there. ”

What? I thought. Who is this creeper, I felt shivers running down my spine.

Is anything wrong sher? Joshy said with a worried expression on his face.

I quickly replied no nothing at all. It was just um……Kate my lab partner in science. She just wanted to know what what homework we had.

“oh ok,” he said.

Phew I said with a relief if he saw this he would go crazy

So aren’t you going to reply?

“Yeah in a little while, “I glanced at the clock. It read 2 pm, wow time flew quickly. “ Joshy can you drive me to the mall?” The mall always calms me down and makes me feel relaxed”

“Sure anything for you,” he replied.

I put on a pair of light blue demin shorts and my favorite hot pink v neck shirt along with my gladiator sandals. Then I went to use the bathroom when I caught up with Hannah.

She asked me, “Where are you going bff?”

“Your brother and I are going to the mall it’s going to be really fun.” I said trying to look a bit excited.

“Oh can I come. Please I love the mall. My mom always picks out my clothes and she always buys me kiddie clothes. Can I please come, you can show me the latest styles. I want to look like you”

“I was flattered and immediately replied,  “Sure why not” I didn’t really know how joshy would feel about this though. He wasn’t that close to his siblings.

Knowing my luck joshys little brother Sam overheard the conservation and asked, “Can I go too” I couldn’t refuse. He was pleading with is adorable puppy dog face.

“I replied saying of course come on board. Get ready I will give you 30 minutes then we have to leave, deal”

“Deal” they both replied in unison:

I went to the bathroom fixed my hair and went back to joshys room. I told him about my little situation>

“uh you know you Sam and Hannah. Well they asked me to go to the mall with us and I just couldn’t refuse. So is it okay if they come. I already told them they could and I don’t want to crush their hope. Please”

“You what?”, he said. “I am not bringing a bunch of 10 year olds to the mall” he said angrily

“Please for me. Sam told me a couple weeks ago when I came over that he aspires to be you. He thinks you’re so perfect. You are his role model. Come on teach him to be hot like you”

“Okay only if you teach Hannah to be as hot as you”

“Fine lets go” I had with a big smile on my face. I loved josh; he would do anything for me.

We all went inside joshys Mercedes. Did I forget to mention joshy came from a very wealthy family. Like me but we are not the snotty, filthy rich kid types. We try to hide our money.

The mall was about 15 minutes away. As we were in the car Nate kept on trying to flirt with me, and joshy and I couldn’t stop laughing. I told him about the age limit and how I could go to jail if I ever did anything with him, and that I was already in love with someone else. He asked who. I replied saying your brother, joshy. He finally understood and backed off. We listened to the radio and it was playing “Mine” by Taylor swift. I couldn’t help but sing along to my favorite artist in the world. They all complimented on how good I was.

We finally arrived and decided to spilt up. I went with Hannah to Nordstrom, Fitch, Forever 21, Macys, and the Disney store. We spent hours picking out the perfect clothes. Altogether we spent around 1000 dollars. We later changed into matching outfits. Dark blue demin short shorts, a turquoise sequined top that had one sleeve come off my shoulder and black uggs. Dam we looked hot. As we walked down the hall I felt people checking me out and even the little 10 year old. I texted joshy telling him I was tired and that I was hungry. He immediately told us to meet in the food court. There we arrived in style..

“Your so hot” he said to me. I couldn’t help but blush.

Right when I was about to tell him he was hotter, Hannah interrupted saying, “What about me” 

“You look like the prettiest girl in the world” he replied.

"Wait I taught that was me?" I said. He just winked at me and smiled. I didn’t really care. To say the truth hannah was very cute and pretty.

I was so close to collapsing I was holding thousands of bags. I dropped them all to the floor and took a seat next to him and gestured Hannah to sit down. She grabbed a chair from another table and moved it in between me and joshy. Then she told me to move over. I didn’t want to argue so I moved slightly to the left. Weird huh I think she had a guy crush on her brother.

“How was your shopping?’ I said eagerly to know how they bonded.

“Really well we bought a lot. I had a lot of fun.”

Nate said, “It was the best day of my life. Nate though me to ask girls out. I got five girls number and he got 10” They then gave eachotehr high fives.

“Wow” I said, “Good progress. So joshy whose numbers were they” I said sarcastically.

“No need to worry he said I will never call them you’re the only girl I want”: he smiled. Boy I loved this guy. He knew exactly how to turn me on.

I looked in my wallet and took out a 50 and handed it to Nate. Here take this and go by some ice cream with your sister. And bring me and josh a strawberry smoothie.

They left. And we talked a little. I told him about how cool his siblings were and that he should hang out with them more often. I could tell he wasn’t paying attention he was staring directly and my boobs. What a pervert? I thought.

The came back with a banana spilt for Nate a mint chocolate chip cone for Hannah and a smoothie for me and Nate to share. We both sipped out of one straw.

Then Hannah asked, “Can I share my ice cream with you joshy” What was wrong with her? Joshy that’s what I called him. Ew this was gross.

He replied saying, "no thanks um I am already sharing with someone, my girl friend"

All of a sudden she asked him, “Will you be my boyfriend you can break up with her she is not even pretty?” I couldn’t stop laughing, did she just dis me and were we that hot that little kids wanted to go out with us?

He replied saying. “No you are not allowed to date your brother. And I already love someone who i will never break up with” I smileda t his response and got up to kiss him.

“Digusting"she said "Well you said I was the prettiest girl in the world”

“You are, you are beautiful. But you should do out with someone your age.” He said and then stared at me. I couldn’t stop laughing. Hannah was trying to steal my boyfriend aka her brother.

I handed mine and Hannah’s bags off to Nate and joshy and told them, “All gentlemen carry there mistresses bags.”

Nate said, “Well Hannah is not my mistress.”

I replied saying, “ You should get some practice so when you have  girlfriend and they tell you to hold their bags you won’t drop them and make  fool out of yourself.”

 On the drive home my phone beeped again. I looked at the time 8 pm. I read the text, I read, “I can’t wait to see you”

I was confuzzled. Who could this mystery guy be?
