chapter will be shorter due to flashbacks, time goes on and on in this story without your knowledge.

NIGHT is you.

NIGHTMARE is the goop lord.

New writing style? Hell yes!

NIGHT's POV:

Another casual day with the destroyer, Error! Sans is just accompanying us and helping out to cause chaos and destruction to maintain the balance. Come to think of it, who knew the destroyer himself would even be here with my team? Ah yes, a contract we both signed for.

flashback.

"So.. YoU'rE sAyInG wE bOtH nEeD tO bE iN a PaCt FoR tHiS tO wOrK oUt?"

The black skeleton asked before I nodded my head in response, my tendrils swaying to the sides in an intimidating mannerism. The cold breeze of Outertale passes through us, the moonlight shining vibrantly throughout the town of monsters.

"What do you think? A contract would be fitting to ensure no one breaks the deal."

I asked the glitching skeleton who seems to be deep in thought with it, his thumb scratching his chin. The skeleton remains silent as the time passes through the moment.

After a while, he seems reluctant when he answered about it. His voice is so low and quiet, only for me and him to hear his answer.

"..i'lL aGrEe. Is ThErE aNy CoNdItIoNs BeFoRe SeAlInG tHe CoNtRaC?"

He asks silently, turning up to look at me with his mix-matched pupils. It only took me a few moments to answer his question.

"None in the particular. Would you like a condition to be set, Error?"

I said with my usual sadistic tone, my grin only growing wider as the time between me and him passes in silence.

I could hear him let out a sigh of relief, looking up at me before he motions me to hold out one of my hands.

In turn, I offered one of my bony hands covered in goop. One of his blue strings were wrapped around and attached to my wrists, making me look up at him in both shock and curiosity.

"JuSt.. sTrUm ThE sTrInG iF yOu NeEd My HeLp Or MaYbE pAiNt fAcE iS aTtAcKiNg YoU."

I only nodded my head in understanding, still shocked in silence I wasn't able to form any words out of my toothy grinning mouth.

I looked back at him for the last time before jumping into a goop portal puddle I made on the ground.

flashback.

I was finally out of my trance, not noticing the two skeletons that were looking at my way already. I've probably been zoned out for too long these two beans started noticing it.

"Boss?" Killer's voice made me snap out of my thoughts, immediately turning my attention to him with a curious gaze.

"What is it, Killer?" I quickly regained my composure and looked over at him with a my usual piercing gaze.

"You're zoning out too much," dust finishes Killer's sentence, making Killer let out a silent groan before going along with it as Killer nods his head in agreement.

'About time you tell them, Night.' The embodiment of negativity suggested, even though he thinks I can't sense it.. his voice is laced with hope and concern, who wouldn't when his host almost got into a bloody fight with the sans that almost got him killed?

"Alright, alright. It all started when.." And so, I began to speak and tell them what happened just a few days ago.

flashback.

Night breathes heavily after taking in another shot of positivity through his chest, almost. They desperately tried to terminate the sans with the overwhelming positivity, HeavenTale! Sans. Night growls loudly in anger, his cyan eyes pierce menacingly into the sans' eyes.

"Had enough, King of Negativity?" Heaven spoke, the sans spreading his six wings while floating up into the air and his body was shining brightly like a lightbulb throughout the skies.

Night felt helpless, hopeless even due to the overwhelming force of the positivity bringing them down.

Nightmare was screeching and screaming in agony, not having been exposed to positivity for so long. He silently endures it as he motions for Night to go on and fight off the anomaly.

In turn, Night's sadistic grin grew even wider as their goop hovered the entire skies. The once blue sky shining throughout the world was now covered in black, despair ruling throughout the world.

The overwhelming force of the positivity rapidly died down as Heaven (the sans) felt helpless, dropping down on the ground and on his knees as he looked around him.

Despair. Cries. Pain. Darkness. Alone. Screams. Those sounds pierced deeply into Heaven's ears, making him feel hopeless in saving almost everyone in the realm of angels and devils.

As the tables have turned, Night looked down at the sans with a sadistic psychopathic grin. Night's cyan eyes lingered on his helpless body, Nightmare watched in amusement.

'Finish him off, Night.' Nightmare ordered, looking down at the sans who was now cowering and backing away from the King of Negativity.

As if hypnotized by Nightmare's voice, he finishes him off with a single thrust of his long tentacle.

flashback.

The two skeletons were stunned in silence before showing sympathy towards their boss after having to fight off the sans without their help. But they're glad that their boss is still alive or.. they'd obliterate every single copy of that HeavenTale AU.

"Well, that was an easy feat convincing Laz."

The woman who leaned back on her chair, her amber licks brushing over her face as she sips her boba.

"..perhaps he is tired, Emryn."

"I mean~ he wanted me to take over the chapter while dealing with his little friend."

"...I see. Well, go on with the outro."

"Of course, Kurosawa."

Truly yours, Emryn.
