Definition of "intern" and "apprenticeship". Had a girl saying she wanted to get an apprenticeship when she graduated. Had to explain 99% of them do not get paid, and in fact, usually work second jobs to pay bills, and then on top of that, will usually be expected to buy things like coffee or lunch for the guy they're working under without pay.
Knew a girl doing this as an intern for credits. She was working that job to the turn of 10 to 12 hrs a day and working a 2nd job and still couldn't afford food, rent, etc. It's horrible.
