She tossed and turned in bed having a difficult time sleeping. She stared out at the window to see the trees gently blowing along with the shinning stars.

She got up, walked out to her window to see if the man in the moon was up there but sadly her only friend wasn't to be seen. She decided to go out for a late night walk.

She ended up walking to a park and sat on the bench. She looked at the passing cars. She turned her head to the left and saw a person walking. She looked away so the person wouldn't think she was staring at them.

Instead of walking by her, the person sat down next to her. She looked and saw that it was a boy. His face was so beautiful and innocent.

"Hey.",said the boy. She hadn't realized that she was staring at him and probably looked like an idiot for doing so.

"Um hey. I'm really sorry for staring.", she apologized him.

He smiled at her and moved a little bit closer," its fine. So tell me what is a girl like you doing out here at 2 in the morning?"

" I couldn't sleep." She looked at the boy and smiles," what are you doing out here so late?"

The boy ran his hand through his hair,"well this has become a regular thing for me. I come out here looking for an adventure. I'm Shawn by the way."

Shawn. She loved the way it sounded," well Shawn what kind of adventures?"

"What kind of adventure?",Shawn spoke aloud," only the kind of adventures you dream about."

She felt a wave a sleepiness come over her. She wanted to go but at the same time she didn't want to leave him.

Before she said anything he spoke," hey you wanna see a place no one has ever seen before?"

She wanted to say yes just to be with him but she also wanted to say no because he could be a murder. It's always the cute ones.

Shawn spoke again," I'm not a murder I promise. I'm 18. Please say yes."

She reluctantly said yes. As she got up she didn't notice that Shawn was staring at her. He couldn't keep her eyes off of her. He finally got himself to stop and cleared his throat," so what's your name?"

She smiled at him," It's Jenna."

He smiled down at her then looked ahead," Well, Jenna prepare for a magical night."

They walked to Shawn's car. As he started his car, Drake played softly in the background and Jenna quietly mumbled lyrics to the song.

When they finally arrived to the destination, Jenna looked around. They were at an abandoned neighborhood. Some houses were broken down while others looked new," why are we here?"

"Well because I don't what the car to get ruined.", Shawn said.

"What do you mean?", She asked.

"We have to walk through a forest to get to the destination, but I promise you it will be worth it.", Shawn said looking at the direction they needed to go to.

Jenna was now having second thoughts about this. She didn't want to go walking through a forest with a guy she barely met.

Shawn looked at her and knew she was second guessing it. He moved his arm so it was holding Jenna's hand and looked her in the eyes," I'm not going to do anything to you I promise."

She knew it was crazy, but when he said that she felt that she trusted him and smiled," okay I trust you."

They walked half an hour in the forest. Jenna was tired and wanted to stop but Shawn kept telling her that they're almost there.

They finally reached a large pond that had a waterfall to it. Jenna was surprised to see this. She thought the water would be frozen this time of the month.

"Woah," she stated," this is beautiful. I lived here my entire life and I've never seen this."

Shawn was staring at her staring at the waterfall," that not the only thing that's beautiful here."

Jenna turned to Shawn and blushed. She shivered purposely hoping he would give her his jacket.

"Here's my jacket. I wouldn't want you getting sick.", He smiled.

They sat on a big rock watching the waterfall for hours. Jenna laid her head on Shawn's shoulder. He was telling her all about him. She loved hearing about him.

"You know, I used to live here and I would go wondering around and I found this place. Since I was a kid I thought thought of this place like my version of neverland.", Shawn laughed.

Jenna smiled," well I don't blame you. It does look like neverland. Have you shown anyone else?"

"No. You're the only one", Shawn said.

Jenna picked up her head, looked at him and smiled," so does this make me special?"

"It really does. I wanted to show my Wendy her neverland.", Shawn stated.

Jenna laughed," wait so this makes you my Peter Pan?"

"Well that's what I was hoping for", he looked at the ground.

Jenna grabbed his hand," you know Peter and Wendy didn't even know each other well, but she trusted him from the start. I trust you that you won't do anything to me. I'd be honored if you were my Peter Pan."

They both smiled at each other, spent a few more minutes admiring the scenery before finally leaving.
