Jenna Coleman, patient 54-02, she was a very sweet, beautiful young girl. She came in late December 2014, sadly she didn't get to live her life to the fullest. Dying at the age of 19. Her schizophrenia was probably one of the highest,yet rare type we still haven't identified. She also had other disorders. This was rare in one person.

When we did our sessions, she would always mention a young boy, Mr. Shawn Mendes. When I asked her who he was she would simply say,"he's my Peter Pan." I asked her what her and Shawn would do. She told me they would talk about their future, go on dates, etc.

She also mentioned that Shawn would come visit her at night and take out. I'm still quite unsure what she meant. Miss. Jenna would say they went to the new amusement park that opened in Main Street. I don't know how she would have known that because we never mentioned one nor has there been an advertisement on tv shown. When asked what day she went she said may 12th. We thought she escaped, so we checked surveillance cameras and what shocked us was that she never left. She was sound asleep. How she knew detailed information about the park is still unknown.

Jenna would have her good days. Those day gave me hope that she will get better. She would say that Shawn told her he believed in her, that he loved her, all comforting words. I was starting to believe that this Shawn apparition was helping our Jenna and her illness.

Sadly Jenna also had her bad days. She would cut so deep it seemed like a Miracle that we saved her, she would go days without food, she would try to kill herself, and many many more things. We would ask her why? She was say Shawn made me.

We now had more problems. There was a good Shawn and a bad Shawn. No one ever knew which Shawn would appear.

There was a time, Jenna wouldn't take her pills because it caused Shawn pain to see her taking them and because he wouldn't come to see her. When we figured out that it was because the pills were working, she wasn't seeing things. The pills cause bad Shawn to leave. It also caused good Shawn to leave.

We noticed that Shawn became a huge part of Jenna's life. We wanted to know more about him so we asked Jenna's family if she ever knew a Shawn. They all said the name didn't ring a bell. We were at a dead end. We gave up on trying to find this Shawn Mendes.

Before Jenna's life ended she told me during our last session of her being alive that she wants to live in neverland with Shawn and the lost boys. I asked her why and her response," because I was on a date with Shawn and we were at the top of a mountain looking at the city that never loved me, I realized I finally had a family. Shawn is my everything. He took me to see what he called "neverland" and when we got there I found free. I was loved there."

Three days after turning 19 at 8:43am on a chilly Tuesday morning, Jenna Coleman was found dead in her room with her blanket wrapped around her neck. She left a note on the bed that said 'finally in neverland with Shawn'.

She will never be forgotten.
