Fireflies, add light to my sight
Who spark at night,
whose touch is like the daylight
They end the day with a spark,
exhausted in the dark ...
Gives hope to the dark days
Wakes me always,
better than the sun's rays
Heals me in solitary
Feeds on the blueberry
I wish I were like them,
as beautiful as a tiny gem
They wake up the next day
And begin to shine again...
