Sarah and Maya left the tattoo parlor, feeling defeated and hopeless. Jackson's reaction had made it clear that breaking the curse would be a daunting task. But they refused to give up.

They spent the next few days pouring over books and online forums, searching for any information that could help them break the curse. But every lead they found seemed to be a dead end.

As the days passed, Sarah began to feel the effects of the curse more strongly. She started to have vivid nightmares every night, each one more terrifying than the last. She could feel her energy draining, and she knew that she didn't have much time left.

"We need to find a way to break this curse," she said to Maya one afternoon, her voice barely above a whisper. "We're running out of time."

Maya nodded, determination in her eyes. "We can't give up now," she said. "We'll find a way."

They continued their search, visiting libraries and even seeking out help from a few experts in the field of black magic and curses. But no one seemed to have any answers.

As the days turned into weeks, Sarah's condition worsened. She could feel the curse spreading through her body, and she knew that she was running out of time.

One evening, as Sarah sat alone in her apartment, she heard a knock at the door. She opened it to find an elderly woman standing on her doorstep, a concerned expression on her face.

"Sarah, I've been watching you," the woman said. "I can see that you're in trouble."

Sarah was taken aback. "Who are you?" she asked.

The woman smiled gently. "My name is Estelle," she said. "And I think I can help you."

Estelle led Sarah into her apartment, where she showed her a collection of herbs and potions that she claimed could break the curse.

"It won't be easy," Estelle warned. "But it's your best chance."

Sarah was desperate, and she agreed to try anything. She drank the potions and applied the herbs to her skin, hoping that they would break the curse.

Days turned into weeks, and Sarah waited anxiously for any sign that the curse had been broken. But nothing seemed to be working. She was starting to lose hope.

One night, as she lay in bed, Sarah felt a sharp pain in her chest. She gasped for air, struggling to breathe. It felt like the curse was suffocating her.

Suddenly, she saw a flash of light, and she felt a surge of energy coursing through her body. The curse was lifting.

Sarah felt an overwhelming sense of relief and joy. She was free.

The next day, she and Maya went to the tattoo parlor to confront Jackson. They told him that the curse had been broken, and that he had no power over Sarah anymore.
