[Louis' P.O.V]

Surprisingly, Harry let Lucy wander around the flat for the rest of the day so he could cuddle as close to me as possible. Really all we did was exchange kisses, hold one another close, and watch films and the telly. My family, including my step-dad Mark, called, and we talked to them a bit. The first time Mark had ever met Harry had been a complete accident. We'd gone and stayed a week at my mum's a little after Harry's birthday. Mark had made a surprise visit back from the U.S and had walked into the house to find the kitten eared boy playing the Wii with Phoebe. Needless to say, he'd been extremely confused and a tad skeptical at first when I explained it to him. Yet, after he was introduced to Harry, the two got along perfectly fine.

After talking to my family, we moved Lucy's bed to the living room recliner. Once we'd done that we took a bubble bath together, where we might have exchanged hand jobs, and then, skipping dinner because of our snack, went straight to bed. Harry slept as close as he could to me, completely nude as he was most comfortable that way. Considering the day had been mildly stressful, I actually slept quite well and woke up at my normal time the next day to call in for work.

"Louis, I'm sorry!" were the first words out of Zayn's mouth when he answered the phone.

"What?" I murmured in confusion, rolling away from Harry to exit the room so I wouldn't wake up my Kitten.

"Because I brought that Ella woman to Liam's, I thought Lucy was Muffins... it was just a bad mistake of mine all around, and I made Harry really upset and I probably made-" Zayn rambled as I wandered into the kitchen.

A hungry Lucy scampered down from the recliner and raced after me, weaving hopefully around my feet until I scooped her up so I wouldn't trip on her, "Our Harry is still sleeping."

"Wait... what?" Zayn asked in confusion, halting in his rambles.

"I was talking to Lucy," I chuckled. "She's darting around my feet and begging for breakfast."

"Were you listening to anything I was saying?" Zayn asked in shock.

"Somewhat... but I wasn't exactly mad in the first place, so I kind of tuned you out," I replied.

"Well fine then," Zayn huffed. "That's the last time I apologise for anything."

I laughed, setting Lucy down next to her food bowl and pouring her her breakfast, "So the reason I'm calling... I'm gonna take off work today, if that's alright? Harry is feeling a bit under the weather and-"

"You don't need to lie," Zayn chuckled. "I was going to give you the day off anyway... I figured you'd want to stay with Harry. So you've got a personal day."

"Thanks, Zayn," I told him honestly. "It's probably just going to be a cuddling day... maybe a grocery shopping day."

"Oh!" Zayn said suddenly. "Lou, Chris is turning twenty-four next week and I'm throwing a party for him."

"And you aren't dating?" I laughed.

"Louis!" Zayn snapped. "Chris and I are friends! Just... we'll talk about his party later! Just try not to make too many plans for next week. Goodbye!"
