" I am back!"
" Dad!"
" I got my daughter's favourite berries from forest"
" Yayy!"
" Go get your mom too."

Y/N's dad returns after his duty as a forest ranger. As soon as her mother comes in front of his dad, he immediately engulfs her in a warm hug after a long tiring day.
Y/N was born out of love and her mom and dad were like a role model for her in so many ways.
She wanted her future husband to be just like her dad, calm, caring, soft and jolly as always.

They were enjoying the tasty berries when
" Dad! When will you take me to the forest visit. You promised me last time!"  she pouts but her mom interferes

" Y/N don't you know how dangerous it can be for you!"

" Honey!"

" No! She has to understand. Did you got the news how landlord's men were dragged into forest and later killed brutally by those hunte- "

" No need to worry about that. I will be there with my daughter. She will be safe with me. I just want her to live her childhood to the fullest because these days once gone never returns ! "

" Wow Dad! " exclaimed the eight  years old y/n in excitement.

She was heading towards the forest with her father on a horse back.

She gets down the horse once they reach the office of forest rangers.

She spends almost entire day chasing butterflies, making garlands out of flowers, resting underneath long canopies of trees.

" Y/N, there is an emergency, I need to go immediately. You just  stay inside the office. And NO MATTER WHAT don't step outside. I will try to return as soon as possible"

He pecks her forehead as she nods.

"Uncle Sung will stay back here with you. Don't worry, You will be safe with him!"

She yawns in boredom as she looks around and finds uncle Sung sleeping with mouth opened wide.
She giggles as a 🦋 tickles her nose.  She finds it quite beautiful and  follows the butterfly which flies outside in the forest.
She looks at uncle Sung again and thinks ' I will be back soon, before he wakes up' while stepping outside silently .

She follows that butterfly but soon it disappears in the forest. She pouts.

Y/N decides to go back but finds herself deep inside the forest and that's when realization hits her that she had come a long way away from her father's office. Her heart sinks as all sort of negative thoughts now flood her mind including stories of those ' hunters'.

She holds the trunk of a forest and screams on finding a snake wrapped around it. She rushes even deeper inside the forest as it starts getting dark now. She can literally hear her heartbeats  with so much adrenaline rushing inside her body.

Tears starts trickling down her eyes as she calls for Uncle Sung and her father several times.

She takes the support of a tree trunk and slowly sits down bringing her legs closer to her body almost curling up.

Suddenly she hears the sound of leaves being crushed by someone walking on them which increases her heartbeats even further as It can be any  cannibal and maybe she is it's next meal.
Her eyes widens on thinking something  even worse.

" H-Hunters"

She gasps and jumps in fear on hearing that sound again and by now she was confirmed that she was not alone there !
