Lan Wangji feels very bad that Wei Wuxian does not want to marry him. But he wanted to talk to his parents for Wei Wuxian.
Lan Wangji: Hmmm... I'll talk to my parents about you.
Wei Wuxian: Thank you so much!!(says with a relief)
Lan Wangji : It's ok.
Wei Wuxian: I have to go. Please don't tell this to my dad that I met you.!!

After that small conversation Wei Wuxian leaves immediately.

At wedding day Wei Wuxian was very angry he was thinking that "Why Lan Zhan didn't cancel this marriage. Everyone says that he is a kind person. But even after my refusal, he is marrying me today".
Lan Wangji stands on the stage, Wei Changze takes Wei Wuxian's hand and leads him to the stage. Lan Wangji's heartbeat became very fast.
Wei Wuxian doesn't even look at Lan Wangji. After all the rituals, the priest tells Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji to kiss each other to lock the marriage.
Lan Wangji slowly steps forward and kissed on Wei Wuxian's lips. Wei Wuxian feels that Lan Wangji's lips are so soft.

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji's room was lavishly decorated. Wei Wuxian was in that room, Lan Wangji also comes into the room.
As soon as Wangji enters, Wei Wuxian says: You said that you would told your parents to forbid this marriage. Why did you marry me now?
Lan Wangji : I talked to them but they said that it's not possible to cancel marriage.
Wei Wuxian: Ok, don't try to make any kind of relationship with me.

Wei Wuxian: Lan Zhan!! Please!! I don't want to talk anymore. I'm tired, I'm going to sleep. Good night.!!

On the second day of the wedding, Lan Xichen and Jiang Chang give marriage gifts to Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji.
After a few days, Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng became very good friends.
Lan Wangji's parents took care of Wei Wuxian like their own son.
Lan Wangji decided that he would keep Wei Wuxian happy, so he spent most of the time at cooking Wei Wuxian's favorite dishes by himself. Also Wei Wuxian enjoyed that food.
Lan Wangji did his best to make Wei Wuxian happy. He obeyed everything Wei Wuxian said. When Wei Wuxian makes the room dirty, Lan Wangji would clean the whole room by himself. Whenever Lan Wangji did something for Wei Wuxian, he feels so happy.
Lan Wangji told Wei Wuxian that Wei Wuxian should take admission in the same college where Lan Wangji teaches. Or Lan Wangji will teach in the same college where Wei Wuxian studies. But Wei Wuxian rejects Lan Wangji's decision and says that they are fine in our own places.
Meng Yao had started arriving at the Lan Mansion. He met Wei Wuxian alone most of the time and had started filling Wei Wuxian's mind with wrong thoughts about Lan Wangji.
Wei Wuxian was now taking Meng Yao's words as truth. Because of this, Whenever Lan Wangji did something for Wuxian, Wei Wuxian would take it as wrong. Because of this, Wei Wuxian started quarreling with Lan Wangji.
Whenever Nie Huaisang tries to convince Wei Wuxian that Lan Wangji is best for him, then Wei Wuxian refuses to listen to Nie Huaisang's words. Jiang Cheng and Lan Xichen also realises that Wei Wuxian is angry with Lan Wangji, but they did not know the reason behind it.
Now Wei Wuxian started quarreling with Lan Wangji on everything. And a time came when Wuxian told Lan Wangji about their divorce.
