Chapter 4

You woke up to the sun shining on you making you a little warm but the snow caused you to be cold again.

You packed everything up and decided to only eat when you were hungry because your food was limited.

You remembered where you were and what direction to go thanks to badger.

The walk was long and your legs hurt but anything is better than going back.

You saw a deer in the distance with its baby and you smiled at the sight.

You walked towards it gently and the mother looked to you but wasn't frightened.

You had some seeds from Mrs. Beaver and took them out putting a handful in your hand. You held it out to the mother and she slowly walked towards you.

She started eating out of your hand and you saw the baby come to you. You knew you couldn't touch it so you spread the rest of the seeds on the ground for the baby and it jumped up and down starting to eat.

You watched them eat happy to help them but your happiness was cut short by howling

The howls were close and you panicked

"Run my friends quickly!" You yelled and ran off

You ran across the forest fast and loud. You didn't care if they could hear you, you just had to get away.

You made it to a big cliff and the only way to get down was the water fall.

"Princess y/n" the lead wolf said and you turned around frightened

"I'm not going back!" You yelled

"You have two choices. Either come back with us or we kill you." He said

"I don't think my mother would want you to kill me" you said

"Oh she would. She's the one who told us to give you these options" he smirked and your eyes widened

You turned your head to the cliff and back to the wolves.

You weren't going back. Not now not ever.

You turned to the cliff and jumped off falling a great distance

You crossed your legs and pointed your feet. You covered your mouth and the top of your head bracing for impact.

The freezing water hit your body and it felt painful. You swam away from the current quickly and went up for air. You turned to see the wolves watching you as you swam away.

You kept trying to move but your body froze up and you couldn't move.

Your body felt like you were being bitten everywhere and your eyes felt heavy

You soon saw darkness.

(Time skip)

Your body had drifted across the river and it was a surprise you hadn't died yet. The water washed you up to a shore and your body had ice sticking everywhere.

Hoofbeats were heard in the distance and a centaur was seen charging at you with his swords out ready to attack.

He stopped dead in his tracks to see you laying unconscious on the shore frozen to death.

He put his swords away and kept down checking for your heart beat. It was there but it was very faint. He scooped you up in his arms and charged back to camp.

The centaur entered the camp full of soldiers and more creatures making weapons.

They all turned to the centaur and eyes widened at what he had in his arms.

He charged through the camp in a hurry to save this young girl. He made it to his tent and set you on his bed wrapping you in 3 huge blankets to warm you up.

He then ran out to go to the leaders tent and beat his hooves into the ground.

"Asland!" The centaur called and a few minutes passed before a beautiful lion strolled out of the tent

"Yes oreius?" Asland asked

"When I was out on my travels I found a girl passed out on the shore. She was covered in ice from head to toe and barely breathing. I think she's from the other side." Oreius said

"The other side? Where is she now?" Asland asked

"In my tent. I covered her in blankets." The centaur said and Asland nodded

"Bring her to my tent if she wakes up. We shall see what her intentions are." Asland said
