Ruby was uneasy, that much was clear. As she stood next to Yang goosebumps raced up her skin. The odd feeling hadn't lessened in the slightest from the moment she stepped onto Beacon's courtyard. It was like someone was burning a hole straight through her head with their glare alone.
Her silver eyes scanned the crowds for the assumed stalker, but her search was cut off by Yang wrapping her in a one-armed hug.
"Just look at this place Ruby. It's nothing compared to the view from Vale." Yang spoke as her lilac eyes widened. Ruby struggled to free herself from her sister's grip of iron to admire the school herself.
But her blood froze when she met someone's gaze. Standing there, at the entrance was a boy. He seemed to be looking directly at her and Yang. It had to be from at least a hundred yards away but she was absolutely sure the boy's eyes bore into hers with a unmatched intensity.
"Why is he making me so uneasy? He's so far away. He could be looking at anyone...right?"
Her thoughts did little to ease her before the boy disappeared with a passing crowd. With that done she let out a breath of relief, turning to her sister. Only to find empty air where the blonde was once standing, Ruby was barely able to catch her in a crowd of people heading inside. She could only stare, dumbfounded at the actions of her oh so beloved sister, leaving her behind.
"...I don't even know where we're supposed to meet up!"
The young girl felt something hit her ankles as her body fell into a pile of suitcases. She looked up, locking eyes with a girl who clearly woke up on the wrong side of bed this morning.

"I see you've taken in interest in Ruby Rose and her sister, Yang Xiao Long." Ozpin stood next to Bell, looking at him with curious eyes. "May I ask why?"
The teen chose to remain silent, choosing instead to look at the new arrivals. "I take it you know of their relationship with Qrow then? Assuming the man told you of their existence that is." the Headmaster scanned the crowd as well while he spoke.
Bell scoffed "I only found out on the day he was taken. Qrow never told me about his family." Ozpin could tell this somewhat upset him, the apparent frown on the boy's face told him that much.
"Qrow, why must you make things so complicated?"
Ozpin's silent question fell on deaf ears. "Alright then, I'll be going on my way now. Try not to do anything...brash while I'm away." now stepping into his role as the Headmaster of Beacon his back straightens and his head rises. He moves onto the stage and gives his speech to the examinees.
His words elicited no reaction, simply driving the room to silence. He spoke with cold calculated efficiency, making sure to drive his points home to a certain silver-eyed girl in the crowd.
He wraps it up with something simple "It is up to you to take the first step." the words hanging freely in the spacious room. With that said and done he steps to the side, moving off the stage so that Glynda may take the microphone.
"You will gather in the ballroom tonight. Tomorrow your initiatio..." Ozpin turned his focus away from the experienced huntress as she addressed the crowd, instead looking towards his soon to be student, Bell. Who had once again found himself staring at Ruby Rose and Yang Xiao Long.
Ozpin watched the former nervously glance around the room, no doubt sensing something is amiss. But Weiss Schnee managed to grab her attention when she waved off Jaune Arc after he leaned a step too far into her personal space.
