The energy inside me
Flames burning bright
Attracting all around me
Source of warmth and light
The energy inside me
Melts cold hearts around
The light that surrounds me
Helps find their way about
But when one gets too close
The energy inside me
It will start to burn
All that stand too close
The fire that's inside me
Burns pathways that I walk
It burns all that's behind me
Leaving trails of smoke
I am a walking fire
Hurting the ones too close
I have to keep my distance
Creating only shadows ...
