"Mom, can we talk?" Y/N asked his mom cautiously.

"You know I'm always open." His mom said putting her phone down. "What's up?"

"I want to get top surgery" Y/N said looking at his mom nervously.

"Okay," his mom paused for a moment. "Come here." She said patting the sofa beside her.

Y/N walked over carefully and sat down next to his mom.

"You want too surgery because you think it will make you happy, correct?" His mom said looking at her son, giving him her full attention.

"Yea, I've thought about it for a while and I just feel like it would make me feel so much better about myself.." Y/N said keeping eye contact with his mom, his body felt like he was sideways, wobbling but he was in fact sitting straight up.

"Okay.." his mom said. "You know I'm
very supportive and I want to do anything in my power to make sure your are happy but it's going to take a hell of a lot of convincing to get your father on board." His mom said looking down at her hands.

Y/N begged his dad for the 3rd time.

"Y/N it's hard enough to have gotten used to your new name and hair cut and., Pronouns.., getting your chest cut off is a big step, I mean what if you regret in in the future?" His dad said looking at his son solemnly.

"I won't! Dad, please if you do this for me, I'll, I'll," Y/N repeated his words trying to think of a bargain.

"Stop seeing that Ootori kid." His father spoke up for him.

"Dad- you can't, you can't do that." Y/N said meekly.

"If I'm paying for the surgery, then you can't talk to that Ootori boy, I don't trust his father." Y/N's father said calmly

"Okay, what if you don't pay the surgery." Y/N said gaining some confidence.

Where are you going to find the roughly.. 560,000¥?" His father asked him.

"I don't know..." Y/N said shyly, "but you can't tell me who and who I can't talk to." Y/N said upset.

"I can, I'm your father." He said sternly not budging.

"Dad" Y/N said trying not to cry at this point.

"I've made my decision, it's either you stop talking to the Ootori boy, or I'm not paying for the surgery." His dad says hinting he was done talking about this.

"I'll stop talking to Kyoya..." Y/N said nervously.

"Okay." His dad nodded at him, "go make the appointment.

"Yeah." Y/N sighed. "But what he doesn't know won't hurt him." Y/N said giving Haruhi a mischievous look.

"But-" Haruhi started to say before Y/N accidentally interrupted her.

"The surgery is next week, I just need to "avoid" him until after, and then after I've had my surgery, what can my dad do?" Y/N said as he reached his class. "I'll talk to you later."
