Riddle lashed out on you. Telling you that your such a failure at everything and how you were a disgrace to your family. You knew he didn't mean it hurt you, yet. Here you are running away from the portal room.

Stumbling any way you chose to be. Seeing the greenhouse you walked over and sat down. 'Shit..' You thought. Wiping your tears as you tried to calm yourself.

"Hey, your too loud" A voice that was too familiar called to you as you jolted in surprise. "S-sorry" You tried to stop yourself from stuttering yet you couldn't. Hearing your shaking voice Leona sits up to see your back facing him.

"Hey you okay?" He asked sort of monotone, who could blame him? He's a prince he wouldn't have to comfort anyone. Yet he couldn't ignore you.

Hearing those words your eyes couldn't handle it as you started crying again. "Herbivore" He called yet, you could only sniffle. Walking over he sat down next to you.

"Hey, what's wrong? Who did it?" Leona asked his neon green eyes capturing your vision. "I- just" You stopped trying to level your staggered breathing. "I'm fine..." You said hoping he would just leave you alone.

"Don't fucking lie to me your crying stupid" He said irratated as he wipes your tears with his leather gloves. "Tell me" He said as you grew shocked. "H-huh?" "Don't make me repeat myself" he said before silence encased the area around the two of you.

"... If you want to," He said "I...i-it's about my family back home..." You said finally getting it out your throat. "What happened?" He asked once again. "Riddle lashed out on me telling me how I was a disappointment and failure to my family... He isn't wrong there. I know he didn't mean it but..." Your vision grew blurry.

"Why does it still hurt? I'm away from them yet... It's like they're haunting me" You said looking at your long sleeved uniform you removed it. And to his surprise there was scratches and bruises. "Did Riddle do that?" He yelled. "What?! No...my parents did" You said, as he stared you grew more insecure.

"No matter how hard I try I'm never good enough for them. The times I actually feel happy my father... always ruins it for me." You say

"He's like obsessed with me, always wanting to get me in trouble or worked up... I'm scared I'm gonna be like him one day." You said crying. Leona could only sigh.

"C'mere" He said as you turned to face him. Hesitant before scooting closer to him. He pulls your sleeves up and takes out his pen. "This'll help" he said as your wounds healed slightly. Scars still reminate. Just then he grabs you and pulls you into a hug. Falling down on the soft grass beside him.

"Leona!" You yelled as he mumbles something barely audible. "What?" You asked. "I said, your fucking stupid... For thinking your not good enough, those shitty people you grew up with don't know shit." He said

"You know who you really are, and I know for a fact. You wouldn't allow yourself to become that kind of person, not on my watch." He said. His words were ones similar to ones you've heard when ranting to another yet... You can't help but feel cared for. Your eyes started to fill with salty water again.

The two of you laid there in silence for what seemed like forever.

"Leona, thank you... For listening to me. I hope I get to stay by your side forever, I never want to return home" You said hugging him. And he let you do just that. His presence alone was calming to you. Your eyes felt heavier to hold open. Well how could you? You've cried alot today you deserve to sleep.

Leona's ears flicked at the sound of your soft snoring. He smiles while patting your head. "Stupid herbivore... I love you" he said kissing your hand before falling asleep himself
