Chapter Nine: Team-ups of All Kinds

A/N: I HAVE RETURNED AGAIN! Honestly time has been flying by and so much has happened that I don't even know at this point😅 Anyway, this chapter has been sitting in my draft from the last update and I have only gotten around to editing it now hence I apologise again. Even my YouTube updates have taken a hit, not to mention Rising of Heroes... 🙈The other problem is I've had major writer's block for romantic scenes, I also overdo it sometimes and apologise for that too. Now with these many apologies done, I present to you... THE AMAZING CHAPTER NINE! *cough* *cough* just uhm Chapter Nine ya' know. 

Edit: So, I wrote that initially then I moved to South Korea for work and didn't have access to my account, my lovely brain didn't think about being able to use the internet instead of my app... a year later! Now I am back again, and I will try to be more consistent, I also didn't try to think of this fanfic because the series was kinda irritating me, so I took a break from MLB.

In front of the Eiffel Tower, littered with police officers and vehicles, the inverted heroes and targets step out of a cab. Loup D'argent lands next to them and is about to pay the driver, "You're a public health-hazard!" Chat Noir shouts. "But I never even went over 15 miles an hour," the driver says, "I'm sorry sir, he..." Loup D'argent starts explaining but is interrupted by Ladybug closing the door with her yo-yo still inside.

She lets out a sigh as her partner tugs at it then opens the door to release the weapon, "...they are not themselves. Thank you for your service," she says turning her attention back to the driver and paying him. Oceani looks at the sky, "Either the stars are out early, or those things are entering the atmosphere," she says directing their attention to the sky. "Those are not stars, so you're right! In just a few minutes, it'll be like having a meteor shower, except with dumpsters!" Ladybug exclaims and Chat Noir begins to shiver.

"Don't be scared, Chat Noir. We can do this," Ladybug states and places her hand on his shoulder, he calms down. He takes the hood, that was a blanket he found, off his head. "You're right, m'lady. Our powers may be all screwed up, but we still make a great team, and we have amazing back-up from our new teammate and friends," he says and receives a smile from the group. "You know it kitten, now let's get to it! If you'd be so kind lovebug," Loup D'argent says and looks to their leader.

She smiles and calls forth her Lucky Charm, a roll of bamboo sticks appears and lands on her head. "Ah! A bamboo-roll?" she asks and uses her Lucky Vision, which highlights a traffic cone, Chat Noir's blanket, her yo-yo, and the bamboo-roll itself. Reverser flies overhead and Ladybug knows what to do, she uses the traffic cone as a makeshift megaphone. "Loup, I need you to stay hidden and the rest of you please trust me," she instructs them, they nodded in response, and move to action.

"Reverser! We're over here! I've got a deal for you. I'm gonna hand Chat Noir and Nathaniel over to you now!" she says to the villain and her partner gasps. "In exchange, you'll reverse Mayor Bourgeois to order the dumpsters back out into space! Only then will I give my miraculous and Oceani," she ends her suggestion. "I'll only reverse the mayor back if I have Chat Noir, Oceani and Nathaniel! And what about Loup D'argent?" he asked.

"She never show, just when we thought we had another teammate," she answers with a sigh, Reverser looks at her and accepts her answer. "Fine, will you send the three of them?" he asked, "Yes," she replies closing their negotiation. He smiles as they walk into the Eiffel Towers elevator, "M'lady, I'm too scared," Chat Noir says, "And I don't wanna be reversed," Nathaniel adds. "I'm curious to see what an inverted you will be like," Oceani says and gets a light punch on the shoulder from him.

"You have to trust me," Ladybug says as she hands Nathaniel her yo-yo, "This is gonna work," she adds as the elevator's doors close and it ascends. Picking up the traffic cone once again she turns her attention to Reverser, "Chat Noir, Oceani and Nathaniel are on their way! Return Mayor Bourgeois back and stop the space dumpsters!" she says. "If you try to trick me, it'll cost you, dearly," he replies as he stops the space dumpsters, "What tricks do you think I can pull, Reverser? With the scaredy cat and me, super klutz, we don't stand a chance," she answers trying to hide her smirk.
