Chapter Ten: Miraculous History Lesson

A/N: A week later and... I am here! ...Plus Ultra! Ahh, I'm enjoying MHA, I already caught up with the manga, but I'm watching the anime as it comes out. I don't love it more than One Piece, but I think that Kohei Horikoshi did a great job with it. Anyway, that isn't miraculous so let's get back to it. There are still I think 2 or 3 chapters left of this part... I didn't plan on it being this long buuut it happens. "He will catch on soon and we need a plan so we will head over to the Master for some advice as well. Have you fought that Therion Sargon guy before?" she asked as she began to lead the way, "Kind of," he said which made her look at him questioningly. He sighed, "Therion Sargon is the name of the lion miraculous Kwami who is the main jewel of the battle box," He started.

"The kwami's name but when they transform the holder has to come up with their name," she said, "Yes, but Therion is a damaged kwami from my research. I also wondered why the villain I faced with my partner had used the name of the kwami and not one she made up. The fact that this new villain is using his name is proof of my theory... Therion possesses his holders," he stated surprising Loup.

"Possession? Is that even possible for a kwami? I thought they cannot do such a thing as they must obey their holder," she said, he nodded. "It is different for a battle miraculous, it's not really that they must obey but that they choose to. They must have respect for their holder, or their powers can overwhelm the holder, subjecting them to his or her will," he explained.

"Therion at first respected my former partner, because of his noble character, and they were very close. He suddenly started to try to overwhelm my partner and so we had to stop him by sealing him away. This is why I'm confused about how he was unsealed a second time and has come here," he said. "Sealed away a second time?" Loup asked.

Seret nodded, "Let me tell you more about our story. You see my former partner had come across both it and the bat miraculous, which I learned are usually found near each other. We didn't realise why and when my partner was their holder there didn't seem to be an issue. After Therion changed, the bat kwami named Biānfú explained their history to us," he said.

"They were at war from the time the miracle box came to exist because Therion could not accept the miracle box, the battle kwami were divided in the war and after a final attack, they were scattered across the globe. The wolf miraculous at the time did not engage in the war as he protected the miracle box during it," he concluded the history before going back to the time he and his partner found the miraculous.

"My friend and I were budding explorers who happened upon the miraculous. He found the bat and lion in London while I by some chance came across the elephant miraculous, named Zhìhuì, in Indonesia. We didn't keep any secret and we also didn't plan to become heroes, but when you have a battle miraculous you instinctively want to react to any bad situation heroically," he said with a laugh.

"It was great times for our young selves and our three kwamis were very happy too. That was until Therion regained his past knowledge. It seems that the holder before my friend had managed to suppress his deep aggression toward the miracle box but did not completely purify it," he said solemnly with a shake of his head. "It was then that my friend with a heavy heart sealed Therion away, but somehow sometime later, Therion had become unsealed and in the hands of someone else," he added bitterly.

"We had many battles with that person, eventually, we managed to defeat her and seal the Therion away again," He continued and paused for a second and Loup was sure he seemed pained to go on. "When my partner suddenly passed away, his kwami was relinquished without a successor being chosen," he explained, she did not expect that to be the reason that he was so hurt.
