Chapter One

M.J.'s Pov

Today was the day my school was having the dance. Of course I was going to go. Me and my BFFs Ruby, AnnaBell and Zyeisha were going to go to my house to get ready. *these vamps are the difference kind they are a hybrid between the classic ones and the ones from Twlight. They don't sparkle in the sun or don't burn in the sun, they can sleep and they can drink both animal and human blood and they can turn into bats and they are cold and run fast and are super strong and they can eat some human foods like meat but they are done very rare done.* got out of bed and took a warm shower and went to my over sized closet. I chose a dress with a pink top and the skirt was striped black and white and a black leather jacket, and black heels. I put on a necklace with a rose and a key on it. After I finished I did my makeup and hair. My hair was jet black and had red highlights and my eyes were a bright orange because I drink animals and humans. My skin is snow white and I have a light pink blush and nice full pink lips. I straighten my hair and put mascara, black eyeliner and eyeshadow. I put blood red lipstick on to make my eyes pop. After I got my makeup done I grabbed my purse, sunglasses, keys, phone, and wallet. I ran down stairs using my vampire speed to see my parents in our huge living room.

"Morning Mom, Morning Daddy." Dad looked up from drinking his cup of what smelled like, human blood.

"Morning Mary Jane, are you thirsty?" My mother asked with worry. I understand why she was worried. The past few days I have gone without drinking.

"Mom, I'm fine. I was drinking, just not a lot. Hey, do we have any animal blood or do we need more." I asked looking in our fridge full of blood. "Never mind found one, we really need to organize these mom."

My mom and dad chuckled at my comment. I poured the blood in a metal thermos and headed to my black sports car with tinted windows.

"Bye daddy, bye mommy!" I yelled walking out the front door and to the garage. I got in car and drove off to school. When I got to school I was greeted with three different voices calling my name. Ruby was the first she was werecat and had blue eyes with cat like slits and brown hair, she was about 5'4 shorter that me. And she was the Princess of all werecats. We have been friends since we were in diapers. Well all of us have. We were all royals. AnnaBell was the Princess of the Fairies and she had blonde hair and forest green eyes. She was about 5'3 since she was a fairy. And last but not least, Zyeisha she was Princess of the Werewolves. And she was the same height as me which is 5'6 and had dirty blonde hair and amber eyes.

"OMG, M.J. your out fit is to die for!" I looked at Zyeisha like she was crazy. She already knows I'm dead so why keep bringing it up. She looked at me apologetically. And sadness soon fill all their eyes as they looked down at our designer shoes.

"M.J. ... I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that can you please forgive me?" I couldn't hold in my laughter anymore. I burst out laughing my bell like laugh.

"You girls should see the looks on your faces... you guys looked terrified that I was gonna get mad at you! " I was faced with three mouths cursing me out.

When they finished with me off we al headed to first period, which was History. I hate me history teacher... Ms. Siren. She was one of those monsters from ancient Greece. All the students at our school are different types of monsters. Well some humans go to our school, but those humans are gifted or are mates of monsters. We don't have to hide what we are, we are proud of what we are.

****************At Lunch********************

After my morning classes I went to the cafeteria to get lunch with the girls. We walk in and everyone got quite.

"Just the way I like!" I squealed to the girls as we walked to our table in the back of the cafeteria. Since we are royal monsters we get more respect than the principal does.

As we sat down our lunches were brought to us. Like I said we are royal so we don't have to wait in the lunch line. I was given a very rare steak while AnnaBell was given a garden salad, Zyeisha was given chicken, while Ruby was given salmon.

Zyeisha was the first to speak "So girls my older brother Xavier is coming home from the war. And I invited him to the dance."

"That's amazing Zyeisha I'm so happy for you." I said getting up and hugging her.

"Um I'm not finished... M.J. since your not going to the dance with anyone I kinda sorta told him you wanted to go with him." I looked up from my bleeding meal and stared daggers at my Bff.

"YOU WHAT... NO OFFENSE BUT I HAVE NEVER MET THIS MONSTER ZYEISHA!"

"M.J. please forgive me I haven't seen him since I was just a pup and this means a lot since he is only coming home for a little while and then he has to see if they will take him back. I need to see him, he is my big brother." Zyeisha looked up at me giving me her famous puppy dog eyes.

"Don't... look... hard to... resist." I stuttered, I can't look away.

"Fine, I will go but I'm only dressing in four star clothing." They all chuckled at my last remark.

Just then the bell rang telling us it's time for our afternoon classes. We all walked out the cafeteria said our goodbyes and headed separate ways. Time for cooking class.
