Chapter Three

M.J.'s Pov

I'm.Kissing.Him.
OMG I did realize what I have done until he started to kiss back which actually made me happy to know I wasn't alone in this. He pulled back gasping for air, which I forgot he needed.

"I'm sorry I don't mean to I was..." I couldn't say anything else. He looked at me with fear and anger. So with that I turned into a bat and flew to one of my vacation houses that happened to be the one we were staying at.

By the time I reached the house it was already midnight. I turned back into my human form and unlocked the house. I was naked so I ran upstairs and took a nice warm bath and lit some candles and played John Legend "All of Me" After a while the water got cold so I got out. I wrapped myself in a warm robe and went to my room to blow dry my hair and put it in a fishtail braid. After my hair was dry I put on a black tank and black and grey plaid shorts and some grey slippers. I went downstairs and started to make a glass of blood when knocking came from the front door. I went to get the door and smelt one cat and two wolves?I already had a guess who the second wolf was. When I got to the door Ruby, Zyeisha and my mate were there with tones of suitcase in their arms.

"Mary what happen why did you bail on my brother you said that you would be there for me." Zyeisha practically yelled at me.

"Zy. Ruby. Can we talk upstairs please?" I asked using my vampire "alpha" voice.

"Fine. Xavier you can leave the cases there if your hungry there are food and drinks in the fridge." Zyeisha said while we were heading upstairs to my room.

When we got the they sat on the bed while I hung upside down on a bar on the wall of my room.*Ik kinda cheesy. Her hanging upside down but oh well it's my story* I told them what happened between me and Xavier and when I finished they looked at me with weirdness.

"Mary you do know my brother was like that because he is weird. Don't take offense towards that. How about while we shower and change you go downstairs and talk to him about it. Ok?"

"Ok. Thanks and let me show you guys you rooms. I will call Xavier up and show him too." with that said they got their bags and followed me to their rooms.

"Ok guy and girls every room had a color theme. So that means your rooms will be a certain color. Ruby your room will be red with lavender. Zyeisha your rooms will be sky blue. My room will be lavender with gray and white and Xavier your rooms will be dark or royal blue."

After everyone knew which rooms was theirs everyone went to change. I went to Xavier's room door and knocked.

"Hey Xavier. Um can we talk?"

"Yeah sure let me put on some clothes."

"Ok"

After I a few minutes he opened the door and I was hit with his intoxicating scent of apples and maple syrup. I looked into his eyes and sighed at how perfect he was.

"I'm sorry for kissing you at the dance."

I said looking down and messing with my hair when I am in trouble or embarrassed which rarely happens.

"Look M.J. its not you fault for that its mine I shouldn't have looked at you like that after you kissed me. I was just shocked at how it felt. You a vampire so when you kissed me I thought it would feel like kissing a cold hard rock. But instead it was like kissing a warm soft marshmallow."

I looked down at how he said it felt like. Under my breath I muttered a thanks and we talked some more that night asking each other simple question to get to know each other. When I looked at the time I noticed it was 3:45 in the morning.

"I'm going to head back to my room. Good..."

I was cut of mid sentence by two strong arms wrapping about my waist.

"No you won't your my mate you will sleep with me tonight."

I just nodded and got comfortable in the warm arms and drifted off to sleep.
