Chapter Two

M.J. Pov

******Night of the Dance*********

Today was the night of the dance. I was at home watching Twilight waiting for the girls to get here. That's when the door bell rang. I got up to answer the door to see two out of three of my friends.

"Hey Zyeisha, Hey Ruby. Where is AnnaBell?" I asked with worry.

"Oh she didn't tell you, looks looks she forgot again. AnnaBell can't come to the dance she went on a trip with her parents to see her cousins and you know how her cousins are." Ruby said while wiggling her eyebrows. And man did I know what she meant.

"Anyways, lets get ready for this dance girls!" I yelled using power but playfully.

We all headed up to my room and got changed. After we did our makeup well put our silk robes up and got dressed. I changes into a strapless red ball gown like dress with silver designs on it and ruffles near the hip. I wore silver accessories and midnight black heels. Ruby walked out wearing a strapless dress that goes above her knees. The skirt part was black and the top part was white and had a silver design. She wore silver strapped heels. And wore silver accessories. Zyeisha came out wearing a dress just like Ruby's the skirt was black but the top of the dress was red. She wore red strapless heels and black accessories. When we all changed we headed down stairs to see our parents looking at us in awe. They all escorted us to the limousine and we said our farewells because we would not be coming home from the dance for the entire weekend cause we planned a trip after that. What? We are old enough to travel the world. When we got in the limousine we told the driver where to go.

"So M.J. Xavier is going to meet us at the dance and you two can meet there. Me and Zyeisha's dates will already be there too so when we get there play nice, ok?" Zyeisha told me sternly.

"Ok Zy calm down it's not like I'm going to kill him. Remember I'm doing this for you, because you my best friend."

"Thank Mary. That means a lot to me."

I smiled at her and we came to a stop. We all looked at each other and looked to see the school decorated like... My castle. I was shocked at how closely it looked like my castle. Ruby got out and Zyeisha followed her. When they got out they announced that I was here.

"Hello fellow students, we would like to introduce you to the princess of the night. We now introduce you to Princess Mary Crescent Jane."

That was my signal to get out the car. When I got out I was greeted with applause from the students that some how crowded the car. I walked down the red carpet with the girls on my heels. When I got to the door it was opened for me. As soon as I walked in the building I was looking into the most beautiful yellow eyes that looked close to Zyeisha's. The mysterious man had the same nose and lips as Zyeisha. But his features where more manlier. The only difference was his hair. He had dark brown hair with blonde streaks going through it. He was gorgeous no he was way better than gorgeous that it was unclear on how gorgeous he was. When I looked into his eyes nothing else mattered. It was only him. I stuck my hand out to shake it and as I did sparks went through my body and I knew he felt them to because he looked at me the same way I looked at him. I all of a sudden had the urge to kiss him and tell him how much I love him even though I knew nothing about him. He was and always has been my Mate.

"Hi." he said in a husky voice.

I turned around to see that girls were no longer behind me they we dancing with their dates.

"Hello I'm Mary Jane but everyone calls me M.J." I said in a voice full of embarrassment.

"I'm Xavier you must be my little sisters best friend. It's nice to finally meet you."

"Likewise, would you like to get a drink?" He nodded and we headed for the food and drink table.

I got a glass of animal blood. Xavier looked at me with confusion. Probably because he has never seen a vampire drink animal blood.

"Oh yeah I drink both animal and human blood but mostly animal blood that why my eyes look like a orangey-yellow color."

"It's not that, I just noticed how beautiful you were. I never seen a vampire as beautiful as you." If i could I would blush.

He laughed at me as I looked down at our feet.

"Would you like to dance fair princess.?"
I just laughed at his comment and took his hand.

We swayed around the room staring at each other lovingly. After a while we noticed we were the only couple on the dance floor and everyone was staring at us.

"Hey babe I think we have company."I looked at him in shock.

"Hey did you just call me babe? Babe!" I laughed at him as he looked away and blushed a deep crimson. Lucky for me I can't blush. So haha for him.

"Its ok I don't mind I kinda like it."With that I couldn't help it anymore. I kissed him square on the lips with full force.
