Sooo this part and the next part will be a slight continuation from my first short story, the letter, when Gracie's gotten a new cat (Marley) so Gracie brings Marley to meet bumble and weenie!!!
For around 20 minutes, you've been driving along listening to some of Gracie's songs, replaying mess it up and the blue more then the others. You hum along to the blue even singing when your favourite line starts,
"I never could've seen you coming, I think you're everything I've wanted."
Gracie's made it clear so many times about how
the song was written about her feelings for you when you first met and you honestly can't believe how much you've fallen for her, how much you loveee her in fact.
Bumbles in her crate upon the passengers seat while weenies perched on your lap, sleeping soundly, all cuddled up in one of Gracie's hoodies (which just so happens to be one of your favs.) It's a dark - bluish colour and has the words "greys anatomy is my life" pasted across the back in white bold writing.
Your phone starts to vibrate in your pocket so you plug it into your car and answer the phone, smiling to yourself when you see the contact of whose calling,
(Gracie's in bold, you're in italic)
*graciepie 🎀* is calling....
"hi my love, how's the drive going so far?"
"cutieeee, the drives been good!!! Bumbles been a bit restless but weenie is sleeping soundly on my lap, bundled up in your greys hoodie, it has made my day!!!!"
"oh sweetie that's like the cutest thing ever, I NEED picturessss"
"oh you are toootaaaalllyy getting pictures, my phones storage is almost dead I've taken so many ahahaha"
"oh my god ahahahah, well Marleys been puuuurfect she's the sweetest little thing, you're going to LOVE HER"
"I don't doubt it at all my love, not at all. Oh I'm getting pretty close to ours by the way, how far away are you?"
"ummm ummm not too far, maybe like 10 minutes? So when you get there just give weenie some water and bumble some food and get yourself something aswell"
"yes yes okay baby, I'll do just that!!"
"I love you y/n, I'll see you soon"
"I love you gracie, I love you so much"
*beep beep beep....*
Words cant even begin to describe how much you're smiling right now, your face is literally hurting. You pull into the driveway of yours and Gracie's house, biting your lip in anticipation.
———- fast forward to in the house ——-
Weenie now has a bowl full of water and bumbles been given her food.
Up until now you had no idea how tired you actually were, I mean you were driving for around 4 1/2 hours so it's normal to be this tired but I think all the anticipation of seeing Gracie for the first time in around 3 months and having bumble and weenie meet their new sibling Marley has really worn you out.
You make your way over to the bed and change into one of Gracie's hoodies, a pair of plaid pyjama pants and some fluffy socks that happen to have SpongeBob printed on them (most likely Gracie's as well).
You Tell yourself you're only going to lie down for a little while before Gracie gets home, but somehow manage to fall into a deep and comforting sleep.
Gracie:
Its been around 10 minutes since I talked to
y/n on the phone and I'm just about to pull into our driveway.
Up until now I haven't been nervous at all, somehow managing to push it all into happiness, but it's just hit me that I'll finally be able to see y/n before I have to go back on tour in like 2 weeks.
Humming the song all too well to herself, Gracie turns to the side and reaches over Marleys carrier. Grabbing it by its handle then lifting it towards herself, placing it on her lap.
"hi baby Marley" she peers through the barred door to Marleys carrier.
"You're going to meet your brother and sister!! Please be nice!!!!!" she giggles to herself then opens the car door and jumps out "oof I did not expect that drop to be that big, did I Marley?!" Marley meows almost as if she's answering Gracie's question, then begins to purr sweetly.
She skips over to the door of the house, taking a deep breath, squealing then holding her hand up to her face and screaming silently.
"God Marley you have no idea how excited I am right now" She reaches down and opens the door leaning her head in and listening out for you. "Y/n? My love, where are you?!" confused, Gracie peers round the corner into the kitchen.
"WEENIEEE, BUMBLEEEEEE!!!!!!! MY BABIESSSSSS IVE MISSED YOU SO SO SO MUCH!!!!!!!!" They're both sat on the love seat cuddling up next to each other for warmth.
She places Marley onto the floor and she runs straight up to weenie, brushing her head against his then making her way towards bumble. She treads more carefully but bumble doesn't do anything, just squints her eyes slightly, a sign of her love.
Marley walks up behind them both then jumps up slightly and lands between bumble and weenie, startling them both at first but they soon realise that Marley means no harm. Marley begins to fall asleep between the them and purrs lightly, snuggling her head into the nook of weenies neck.
Gracie chuckles to herself, remembering how bumble and weenies meeting went almost the exact same way except in that equation:
bumble was in the place of Marley, weenie was himself and y/n was in the place of bumble.
Yep on their first meeting weenie and y/n we're sprawled on the love seat cuddling and bumble ran straight over to the two, and places herself in the middle of them, cuddling straight up to both.
Gracie waits for a moment, double checking that everything's going well and then goes on to find you, thinking that maybe you've gone to the toilet or something.
"y/nnnnn? helllooooooo" Gracie stumbles into your room and her eyes catch a glimpse of the beautiful thing.
You're sprawled out across the bed, hair all messed up but yet still perfect, lips parted slightly, one sock on and the hoodies began to rise upwards. Leaving a perfect view of your abs and almost your boobs.
Gracie let's out a breathy Laugh and makes her way over to the side of the bed, stripping off her coat and shoes, pants and socks then throwing them to the corner of the room out of the way. She quickly changes into a pair of SpongeBob pyjama bottoms.
She slides into bed next to you, "oh my love you're so so beautiful, I love you so much and can't wait for such an amazing and perfect life with you.
I never could've seen you coming, I think you're everything I've wanted.
You came out of the blue like that."
She snuggles her head into your shoulder and she turns to the side, pulling you close to her then laying her arm across your waist. Her hand finding a comfortable spot on your belly, her finger tips lying just beneath the lining of your pants.

oh my god that took me so long to write ahahha, Oh and btw that little "the blue" quote istg came outta nowhere just cause I was listening to the blue when I got to that part.
